Q: How to prepare or serve this?
A: Is this cereal gluten free?
submitted byformulas - 1 month agoA: Hi Keerthi, happy to help with this one. We recommend you follow the preparation instructions as described on the box. • Step 1 - Put approximately 2 tablespoons (0.7oz) of cereal in a bowl. Then add approximately 4 tablespoons (2fl oz) of warm (recently boiled) water. • Step 2 - Stir well and allow to cool, then check temperature before serving. Use as part of varied weaning diet. Let your baby's appetite guide you and adjust the amount fed depending on their needs. The consistency can be altered by adding more or less water as desired. Hope this helps.

Q: After I prepare the oatmeal how much time do I have to use it until I need to discard it ? Can I store it in the refrigerator?
A: Oatmeal should be prepared fresh, as and when it is required. This ensures the quality of the product but also reduces the risk of cross contamination. We would recommend to use the same guidelines as when making up a bottle. So to throw away after 2 hours of being made up and do not refrigerate.

Q: can this be made thick like regular oatmeal
A: To prepare our Kendamil Banana Creamy Oatmeal, we recommend mixing approximately 2 tablespoons of cereal with 4 tablespoons of warm (recently boiled) water. Stir well, allow it to cool, and it’s ready to enjoy! You can adjust the consistency slightly to suit your baby's preferences, but we always recommend following the preparation instructions provided. If you're considering making the oatmeal thicker we'd kindly suggest speaking with your pediatrician first to ensure it’s suitable for your little one’s stage and needs. Let your baby’s appetite guide you, and feel free to adjust portion sizes accordingly. If you have any other questions, we’re always happy to help!

A: Hi Amanda, Yes, you can definitely use our Creamy Oatmeal to make pancakes for your baby! It has a familiar taste, which could be a great introduction to new textures and flavors. Q: Will this cause constipation?
A: Kendamil Oatmeals are non-GMO and free from artificial flavors, and colors. The prebiotic source in our oatmeals is inulin, a type of soluble fiber that is naturally found in many plants, including chicory root. As a prebiotic it serves as food for the beneficial bacteria in the gut, promoting a healthy digestive system and supports your baby’s immune system. This may help your little one with constipation. There are however a variety of reasons why your baby could be constipated, including a lack of fluids (dehydration) but we would always recommend speaking with your paediatrician or healthcare professional if you have any specific concerns. Hope this helps!
