Kidco Lightweight Portable Tent-Peapod Camp Playard - Midnight

The PeaPod Camp tent from KidCo is awesome. Set up was an absolute breeze with only a few steps and it took a minute to set it up. The tent is large enough to comfortably fit my 4 year old, though i don't believe it would comfortably fit a 6 year old like the box says. I love the fact that the sides are mesh so you cam see your child and make sure they're okay. The pockets inside are great for storing stuffed animals and toys or even a flashlight. The tent is lightweight and folds into its storage bag which is very portable, not taking up much space at all. I would definitely recommend this purchase

I absolutely loveeeee this product! It pops open easily and surprisingly is very sturdy for a pop-up tent! Is big enough for both my 4-year-olds in my 8-month-old infants. It provides shade but is also a mesh material on the sides to allow air flow, highly recommend this product for camping the beach or even just hanging out outside for little ones

My son absolutely loves this tent! He has so much fun playing inside of it both inside and outside, depending on the weather. It's nice to keep him out of the sun and away from the bugs, too. It's extremely easy to open and set up, I was really impressed by how simple the process is. My 6 year old could put it up in a matter of seconds. It's just as easy to put away, and stores away nicely. It's very nice quality, well designed, durable and gender neutral. I love that it comes with a pad for the floor to make it more comfortable. They really thought of everything when designing this tent! The only issue I had was trying to keep the kids out of there long enough to get it completely opened up and the pad inside. I would highly recommend checking it out!! You won't be disappointed! This would make an awesome gift, as well.

I was very excited to get the KidCo PeaPod Camp tent. My children (7 & 5) are always asking to spend more time outside and when it’s very hot, they need a place to hide out. It was so simple to set up, in less than a minute. There wasn’t any need for the directions, very user friendly. It was lightweight and I was happy with the carrying pouch and the strap, which made it easy to bring into the living room for a campout night inside. The padded bottom really makes all the difference. It was an easy snap bottom that allow a soft cushion for kids to spend hours in, whether they are inside or outside. The tent is large enough for my two children to sit up straight and have a few items (toys, plates, tablets) without it being crowded and fighting over space. I think this would be perfect for taking out for kids to nap in, or to spend nice days outside while having a break from the sun. It can be closed one handed and stored in a small area, not taking up a lot of space. It’s not meant for adults, but I was able to read a book to my daughter before bedtime in it, so there is a good amount of space. Overall it’s a great little tent for young children and with the price it’s worth it for a fun new experience indoors or out!

This Peapod is such a big help when we are doing outdoor activities. It’s very easy to set up and take down. I like that my little one is able to sleep comfortably while outdoors. I also like that you can unzip the screens all around for a breeze or zip them down. There are clasp that you put together that holds them in place while up. It’s great for camping or even a evening family activity that takes place outdoors!

This tent is really excellent quality. My 6, 4, and 1 year old were all able to get in at the same time. It isn't big enough for the elder two to stand in, of course, but they can all sit in it together. It would be great to get out of the sun for a moment or have their lunch. It's also, of course, perfect for the youngest to sit safely outside with us. Protected from bugs and direct sunlight for a long time. They also have been wanting to bring inside and set up in the living room, which it is perfect for. The only negative in my opinion is that there are no stakes included. The first day we attempted to set this up, it was too windy and kept blowing away. Stakes are relatively inexpensive so it's not a huge deal to purchase them, but for a tent this expensive I think it's reasonable to think they would be included. I decided to include some photos of what the tent looks like when I assemble it with one hand, while carrying a toddler. It does smooth out as you adjust it. This is just what it looks like right out of the package, with your hands full. It was very lightweight, which is perfect for obvious reasons. It also does come with a really easy carrying case that I could throw over my shoulder.

Just Wow! This tent is the SIMPLEST set up and take down I’ve EVER used and it has provided HOURS of fun inside and out! It has zip down flaps that can provide shade on all sides or keep them all rolled up with the magnetic snaps and feel the breeze! It also has 4 little inside pockets to store books, snacks, hats, whatever! The only things I didn’t love were that there was no zipper on the inside (so if someone zips you in, you’re a little stuck) and the bottom lip of the tent was a bit high for young kids to navigate without tripping. Still giving 5 stars though, because seriously the set up CANNOT be beat!

Quick and easy to set up in seconds! Comes as a one-click set up. Snaps in a push down movement and take down by pulling up and turning upside down (no need to take off the pad). Having air vents on all sides is great! Kiddos crawled in right away to play and nap so this’ll be a summer staple!

Our now 4-year-old has been talking about camping with us all winter, and has been asking about his "own tent" for a while. We brushed it off until we discovered this handy little option, and he couldn't be more excited for warmer weather to take his new tent to the backyard and beyond. He insisted on testing it out before that, so he has been sleeping in it in his room for the past week. Pros: -The tent is very solidly constructed. The mesh screen material and the seams are all very sturdy, which is important with the 2-6 years age range the tent is designed for. Our little guy is careful, but he's so excited about camping that he's literally bouncing off the walls of this thing, and it's held up to everything he's thrown at it (including the cat, and her claws didn't hurt it at all). -The full mesh sides are awesome, and the tent will offer sun protection while allowing maximum breeze to get through. -It claims to unfold and then pack up again in seconds, and it delivers. I was impressed at how incredibly easy it was to take this down and store it. -Magnetic snaps! The tabs that hold the rolled tent flaps have magna-buttons, and I love them. I only just learned that these were a thing, and they are amazing (especially for something intended for kids). I now judge all other snaps more harshly. Cons: -The door does not have zipper pulls on both sides like a normal tent. I understand possibly wanting to keep a toddler contained, but with an age range of up to 6, it seems like an oversight to not let the older kids let themselves out of the tent or zip themselves in. -The pad included with it is pretty thin and insubstantial. While certainly better than sleeping directly on the ground, the batting feels cheap. Also, it simply snaps onto the bottom of the tent, so it gets exposed directly to the ground (this is not really a complaint, I just found it a curious design choice). All in all, I am impressed with this tent, and would recommend it for any budding little campers. The only reason it doesn't have 5-stars is because of the lack of interior zipper pulls.

The PeaPod Camp tent is a must have for any parent that loves the outdoors. It is lightweight and compact and includes a carry bag that makes it super easy to tote around. When you are ready to set it up you just pull up on the top center piece and push down. NO hassling with connecting pieces. We bring this along with us on hikes or when working in the yard it would even be great for a beach trip. My kids even love to have it up in the house to sleep in. All four sides unzip so you can roll them up and be able to see your child from any angle. I love that it is mesh all around and keeps bugs and critters off my child. It also comes with a mat that they can nap or play on. To put away you just release the poles from the center piece and fold down and you are done. Its as easy as 1-2-3 to use.

This is the perfect addition for any camping trip! So far we’ve only played with it in our backyard, but my 4 year old loves it. We’re both very excited to bring it camping with us all summer. My son is very tall for his age (almost 44”) and can sit up very comfortably in it! He can lay down as well at more of an angle. I’m so impressed with the size, and especially with how easy it is to use. The set up takes less than a minute and is very simple. Take down is just as quick and I found it even easy to get back into the carrying bag. I love that the sides unzip for airflow while still having the screen, and the padded mat that goes underneath is also helpful.

I have been looking for a travel bed for my little one and this one was the perfect choice! This tent is amazing! I love the grey and black color combination, it is very gender neutral. I couldn’t believe how easy it was to put this tent together! A few simple steps and the tent was up and ready! We recently went away for the weekend and brought this with us. This tent is super convenient! I love that I no longer have to lug a heavy bulky play pen with us when we travel. This tent is very lightweight and takes up little space. Taking this tent down is also super simple and it stores nicely in the included travel bag. Our little one loves taking his naps in his new tent. The included pad for the bottom is very nice and appears to be very comfortable. The pad is also easy to take out to clean when needed. He also loves to play inside the tent with his toys. The pockets on the inside are a nice feature as we are able to store a few of his toys in there. We have also used this tent for outside play. I love that this has a sun shade to block out any sun rays. I also like that the sidewalls are mesh which makes it super easy to see my little one and also keeps any bugs out! The quality of this tent is impressive and it has held up great! I am glad that my little one will get lots of use out of this as it is designed for children up to age 6! I definitely recommend this product!

The Peapod Camp travel tent is a fantastic product that is perfect for anyone with little ones. This is such a versatile product that can be used in multiple ways. We've tried it indoors when our daughter needs a nap at her Grandma's house and outdoors when we camp. The padded bottom easily snaps on and off for cleaning. The pad can be put in the washing machine, which is great. My daughter sleeps well in this and I really like that the sides of the tent can zip undone and be rolled up so that we can see her when she naps. The mesh keeps bugs out and keeps her comfortable. There are mesh pockets on the inside which we use to store snacks or her stuffed animals. This tent effortlessly folds up in seconds and easily fits in the provided bag. The carrying bag even has a handle so it's easy to carry. It's super lightweight too, so you don't have to worry about it being hefty or cumbersome. This is such a quality product and a great solution for families with little ones. It's a great feature that this can be used for kids up to 6 because this means it will last awhile and is definitely worth every penny.
