    There are various qualities of velvet bedding. This is the cheapest and looks it. Even the higher end bedding Target sells that is velvet does not compare to something you will get at a higher end store. Wait till they have a sale at a store that specializes in bedding (Pottery Barn or West Elm) and you will pay the same price the quality is so much better.
