This roasting pan is great for anything in the oven! My favorite use is to do my steaks on the stove, then finish them off in the oven in this roasting pan. It’s easy to clean up and things don’t stick to it!! Very low maintenance!

I've never had a cast iron pan other than the 75 year old one that my husband's grandmother gave us and it was quite heavy and rusty, so I never used it. I trust the KitchenAid brand and have no qualms about using this roasting pan. It did not disappoint!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cast iron roasting pan isn’t bulky and the perfect size for our family of three. Seasoning is not required and it is ready to use right out of the box. This is my first cast iron pan and I was surprised by how heavy it is! Not only is it pretty heavy, it is also very sturdy and durable, with a lip beneath the handles to assure you have a good grip when wearing kitchen gloves to handle the hot pan. It takes a while to heat up, but once it is heated up, it cooks the food evenly, and retains the heat. Meatballs, the first dish I’ve cooked in the cast iron pan, came out juicy on the inside with a nice sear on the outside. The cheese on top was melted to perfection and the dish stayed sizzling hot for quite some time after being taken out of the oven. Since the pan is one solid piece, without any ridges, is very easy to clean. I usually prefer plain looking cookware and was worried about the blue color on the outside, but the color is gorgeous and timeless.

I love that it is enameled so its a lot easier to clean compared to some of my other cast iron pans. I really like that the cast iron provides a much more even cook and temperature when cooking. This pan is perfect for the stove top or the oven. It works great and is really pretty and can be used as a serving dish with guests!

I've used cast iron for years but never one that is enameled. Cooked a couple chicken breasts in it and they turned out perfect. A nice crisp skin while the inside was perfectly juicy. Clean up is a breeze but must be handwashed. I'd definitely recommend.

The dish was easy to clean, is well made. The dish feels sturdy, and will be able to last a long time. The dish was easy to clean, and I saw no rust once I dried the dish as well. I love the new age spin on cast iron that I can actually wash instead of scraping and seasoning. I made meat balls and potatoes in this and let me tell you the flavor was popping! I highly recommend. Definitely affordable and lives up to the kitchen aid standards. Easy to use, grab and go. Clean up was a breeze as well!
