Kitsch Mass Purifying Shower Filter

Does what it says, no more dry hair skin, and residue all over the shower and curtain... What took me so long! Please keep it stocked

I think that it made my water feel softer at the start but I just went to take a shower after about 1-2 months of it working to the entire filter literally just falling off when i turned on the water, the threaded portion that connects to the water out in my shower snapped off from the rest of the filter just with water pressure. I might rebuy it but I hope that mine was just a quality issue.

Works well, needed to buy some extra Teflon tape. Noticeable difference in the water texture and smell. My hair was easier to style and less frizzy after this wash compared to previous washes. Our water is above EPA limits for hardness, sulfate, zinc, and alkalinity. Tested initially on 12/4/24 and then tested again after we installed the filter on 1/5/25. Hardness, sulfate, zinc, and alkalinity are all now within acceptable ranges. I’ll be buying another for our upstairs bathroom.

Do not buy. It reduces your water pressure so significantly you can not complete a shower successfully. The installation is a headache and the other reviews regarding the threading issues are absolutely true. Save your money for something better.

I was really excited to see this brand release a shower filter. Directions were super simple but the plastic threads stripped almost instantly and it became completely useless. I will be returning it bc there’s no way I’m just throwing away almost 50 dollars.

I noticed a difference in just one shower!! Can you PLEASE make a sink filter for washing my face. My skin feels amazing with this filter!

I wasn’t sure this would make a difference since I already have a water softener, but I’m really glad I took a chance on it. My hair is softer, smoother, and doesn’t tangle anymore. I had been really close to chopping it to my shoulders because of the constant tangles. If you have hard water this is worth buying.

The first filter I received lasted 3 months and was great. The last two filters I received have only lasted a month. I really like that my skin is less irritated and not as itchy. I just cannot afford to keep replacing the filters every month. These are not very economical or earth friendly. I wished they would last longer than 25-30 days.

I recently moved and noticed the water was bad when my towels were bleached. I ordered this and since using the filter, there is no staining on my (new) towels! This was super easy to install and a great price. It did decrease the shower pressure, but that worked in my favor. Would definitely purchase again!

You know how your shower curtain liner gets that orange film of grime? The water coming out of the shower head with the filter is so clean it actually cleaned off our shower curtain liner. Wish I had taken a picture but I just didn't even think it'd be a thing!

Before this my hair was falling out, I thought it was stress related, but I saw an Instagram ad and realized that it was hard water! I tried this out and immediately saw less hair falling out in the shower. I’ve only taken a few showers, but I’m already incredibly pleased with the cleanliness of my hair, lack of build up over time, and reduced loss of hair during showers!

My hair improved after my first shower. The water quality is so much purer. All this time I couldn't fix my dry damaged fragile hair. It was the water. I'm excited to see how much better my hair will be in a few months. I hardly loose any hair in the shower now.

Firstly, our order arrived pretty quickly, everything came packed up nicely & in perfect condition. The filter was super easy to install & we've had no problems with leaking. I can't say we've noticed any difference yet as it's only been a week or two. I'll report back in a month. For reference, I have thinning hair and tons of shedding. I also have been getting unexplainable rashes on the sides of my torso. I am currently using the rosemary mint shampoo & conditioner bars and oatmeal soap (goats milk). My husband has had really bad body acne flare up's , all of this started a few months afters our Apts changed ownership. Hopefully I'll have good news to report back! Btw .. I LOVE the rosemary/ mint bars ..and the rice water conditioner bar smells amazing!! The only negative thing I've experienced is that the bars stripped my hair color..and that could've been a combination of things. Pics to come later. Install is quick and easy. First thing I noticed was that the water smelled pure. I then noticed I did not need as much soap and shampoo and they both rinsed away quickly and easily. (no residue). My skin and hair is so much healthier and is getting healthier with each wash. My scalp does not feel dry or tight now. So happy with the results I bought one for every shower including the dogs wash tub! My dog had red itchy skin which would not resolve - after ONE WASH his skin went from a painful dark red color to a healthy pink and he has stopped licking his paws. (no more hot spots!). This is a great product to purchase while saving up for whole house purifiers or if you live in an apartment. Great value.

I've only been using these filters for a couple of weeks but immediately I noticed my skin felt less tight and dry after washing. Also, my hair which is usually on the more frizzy side felt softer and with more shine and less frizz.

I put this chrome shower filter on myself in under 3-5 minutes, with the super simple & easy to follow directions! I'll be sure to get my refill cartridge every 3 months to keep maintenance on my filter! I am very pleased with my purchase & I've made another purchase since this! OK this is EVERYTHING!! I tell my clients that 90% of damage to their color or extensions is from water. Wonder why your blonde turns brassy? It's usually the water that has loads of iron or copper in it! Even with a water softener the amount of minerals trying to get through to stain your hair is too much unless you have the source stopped right at your shower head. This is the best filter for your shower that is not only pretty but also has a great price point bc why are you spending 100's on your hair just to wash it all down the drain? Fun fact of the day: Why does a blonde turn green when she swims in chlorinated pools? Answer: Copper from her pipes have coated the hair and a chemical reaction between the chlorine, oxygen and copper have created a copper PATINA!! MEANING THE COPPER FROM HER SHOWER RUINED HER BLONDE. FOR GOODNESS SAKE BUY THE FILTER LADIES.
