The tips of the bristles are very sharp and scratchy, especially if compared to other brushes I've used before from Aveda or Acca Kappa. If you've got very thick hair where the bristles won't touch your scalp then maybe go ahead and try it. My hair is quite fine and the bristles are very scratchy. I tried contacting Kitsch customer service for some advice. When I first placed my order, they replied to my emails almost instantly. However, since I brought up this issue with the brush, they didn't reply until the 90-days had run out, despite me chasing up many times. It's been months since and I still have not received any response from them. Before you try this brush for the first time, take note of whether they allow returns in your country. I mistakenly assumed that their returns policy would cover all countries but haven't been able to initiate a return / refund.

I love the hair brush cleaner! It works great and makes getting into the crevices much easier than I expected!

My wavy hair has always been hard to brush and I've been shocked how easily this goes through it. My last brush was probably over a decade old, it finally broke and I was worried I'd never find an easy brush again. This one far surpassed my last brush and I'm tempted to stock up to last the rest of my life. ;)

Don't you hate trying to clean your hair brush out ? I did! Since starting Kitsch I have much less hair breakage or fall out but everyone has a little here and there and if you're like me with fine hair it doesn't take much to tangle up. This little tool really works at keeping all my brushes clean! Thanks Kitsch !

I had no idea how much my old brush was damaging and breaking my hair until I tried this one. It is so gentle yet effective at detangling my long and easily knotted hair. I'm losing so much less hair now and the hair that does come out in the brush is very easy to remove to keep it clean. I am so pleased with this purchase.

Not going to lie, I tend to just buy a new brush every few months but in an effort to be less wasteful this came so handy. Makes cleaning the brush so easy and once clean it's easy to continue using it weekly or biweekly to keep the brush clean!!! I definitely recommend this.

This cleaner is amazing! I HATE dirty brushes and this cleaner gets down to the base of the bristles and cleans out any scalp nastiness- I LOVE this- it's my 2nd one, purchased one for my daughter

So after years of searching for a good brush this was found! Both my and my daughter have got thick curly dry hair and this brush is so good! There's no pulling or snagging your hair! Can't recommend enough, I bought a second one!

What a lovely tool this is. Easy to use, nice to look at, comfortable to hold, and draws out a serious amount of lint, hair, product and other weirdness from my hair brushes - despite my cleaning them in soap and hot water at least once a fortnight! Would make a cool and budget-friendly gift for someone too.

The Consciously Created Wet/Dry Brush from Kitsch is fantastic for hair care. It glides though both wet and dry hair, making it versatile for daily use. It also helps to distribute leave-in moisturizers evenly. This is my hair after applying the Shae Butter conditioner bar to my ends and my daughter's friend right before her braid removal and brush out. This brush does it all, Highly recommended!

I have long, curly hair and this brush just glides through it, never tugging or pulling my hair.

I love this tool! It's amazing for removing hair. The only reason it's getting four stars rather than five is that it doesn't clear the little lint balls from the tip of the hairbrush bristles. My suggestion is to fill your sink with hot water and a touch of shampoo after using the brush cleaner, then swirl the brush around to dissolve the worst of the white lint fuzzies. Whatever is left can be picked off with tweezers...plus the shampoo removes the oils and product buildup too.

This hair brush cleaner did an excellent job of cleaning my assorted hair brushes that have either nylon or metal bristles. As previous other methods of cleaning did not do a thorough cleaning job, I had to repeat the process a couple of times with this one to get rid of all the buildup. I was pleased with the results - would buy again.

Tried using this to clean a hair brush that has been needing a deep cleaning. It works very well! I'm surprised with the result. I forgot to take before and after picture but the brush was covered with some white buildups and lints etc, after cleaning it's all black again (the original color of the base of the brush)Very easy to use!
