I followed the directions just like the package said and when I went to stir it still felt crunchy so I put in it for another minute and let stand another minute. The first time I took it out the smell wasn’t appealing but I told myself maybe it’s like durian fruit and taste better than it smells. I added a little pepper and a splash of soy sauce and it didn’t help. The consistency is weird and it taste like vomit. I spit it out and threw the container in the trash.

Convenient in a pinch, no other redeeming qualities. Texture is gummy, tastes like chalk. No chicken flavor. Barely edible.

I love Knorr sides but this rice bowl was horrible! Hard rice, gooey and slimy and did not taste good. They need to rethink this. Not good at all. I had to throw it out.

Start with a pro takes little time to cook and eat. CONS Taste nothing like the rice sides. Was very wet even after it sat on plate. Glad I found on sale wouldn't pay full price for it. Have other flavors to try but this one it definitely not a go to fast side for this house.

It is a small portion size in my personal optional I wish it was bigger but I know most cup meals aren’t meant to be very big. This might be a good portion if you’re not very hungry or a quick lunch but I definitely feel the need to have it as a side to something like a salad. It’s easy to add meat or seasoning if you want something more on top of it also. There is a ton of sodium in this though which isn’t too good for you. It’s overall quick and easy and an affordable option for a quick meal if you aren’t that hungry or don’t feel like cooking or for a side.
