Can’t believe how little water you put into the mix, it made it like a dough, re-read the instructions several times and I followed them right…but it still didn’t look right. They turned out dense, dry, and crumbly. Some of the worse boxed falafel mix I’ve ever had

Old food getting ready to expire & Target is doing nothing!

I ordered 8 boxes of this Knorr Falafel mix from Target. I just received my order yesterday and when I opened the box, my entire order had January 17, 2025 as the expiration date on them. Today is October 19, 2024 and these will expire less than 3 months from now. I took many clear pictures of this and talked to Target customer service. They told me because they are not actually “expired” yet that I can not get a refund. They said that I could go to my Target store and return them there. The whole reason why I ordered them online from Target is because they were not available at my Target store so therefore I ordered them online. So now, Target is telling me that if I want a refund and or replacement then I have to go return them myself and then make another order and “hope” that they will have a much later expiration date on them and then wait for them to ship out again. This speaks poorly on Target on how they are hanging their customer service and how they are shipping out FOOD that will expire in less than 3 months.

Absolutely terrible quality. I almost never post reviews but this was so bad I felt like I had to. Honestly I don't even think this is real falafel. The texture is more like overcooked ground beef, and the flavor is lacking as well. I'm not sure what they changed about the recipe but it is significantly less grainy. Never buying again.

Not only was this hard, chewey, and the equivent of eating a ball of cardboard I paid $6 for this disgusting rubber ball. They need to recall it for the sole fact my tastebuds sufferred on a level unknown to man giving this crap a try. Go back to that blue and white box recipe. Please.

Garbage. Was this supposed to replace the tried and true Knorr Falafel in the white box? I haven’t been able to find it and stumbled across this. How did it make it through product development?! The other reviewers were being generous. This is the most disgusting falafel mix I have ever tried. The flavor is almost chemical with a bitter aftertaste. And the texture is gummy. Nothing like the crisp crumble you want from fried falafel.

The previous iteration of the Knorr Falafel mix disappeared from our store shelves a little while back. Found this new package and gave it a try. It is just BAD, especially when compared to what they were making before. Way more dense, artificial tasting, and not crispy. If you're buying this hoping it will replace the old one, just don't!!
