Nothing like real shawerma flavor or spices. It tastes like a fake tasteless shawerma, no true authentic flavors of middle eastern and Arab dishes. Unfortunately I do not recommend this if you are looking for the real deal or the true flavor. It feels like they tried to copy shawerma spice or shawerma flavor but it didn’t work well.

I only ever use to find New York Shuk in my bougie corner store - very happy to see it hitting a more mainstream audience. This has been my go to for seasoning my grilled vegetables. The taste is a perfect blend of spices and not too spicy, proven by the fact that I even get it on my kids vegetables with no complaints, which is why I need it to be an easy pantry refill.

I can't remember a time before discovering Shawarma seasoning by New York Shuk - it has changed my cooking forever! I hosted a lot of summer BBQs this year and I would make chicken, shrimp, and lamb kabobs with this as a staple seasoning. It quickly became one of my family's favorites! 100% recommend to anyone interested in enhancing their cooking!!

I love shawarma spice! It's a wonderful blend of spices that gives meat a delicious, authentic Middle Eastern flavor. I'm it to make shawarma with chicken, beef, and lamb, and it's always turned out perfectly. The spice gives the meat a crispy, flavorful crust and a juicy, tender interior. I discovered NY Shuk's spices earlier this year. I am OBSESSED! Their entire product line is so good - I can taste the flavors, the freshness, the blends in a way that makes it feel like I used the actual herbs to cook my meals. These spices have such a beautiful balance, it's the only line I now use. Delish!!!!

I recently discovered this brand - NY SHUK- from a blog I follow. I ordered some online but was so thrilled to see I can now get them at Target . They are SO pure and concentrated .. the taste explodes in your cooking . No more bland spices for me !

I cannot stress enough how life saving this spice has been for me as a single mother of some picky and hungry kids. I just cut up the chicken, toss it in spice, sauté in a pan and you now have a base for a ton of options. The kids put the chicken in pita with salad and hummus, or they make a bowl on rice with veggies. The best thing is the ALL love the flavor. I highly recommend going to the NY Shuk website and seeing all the recipes they have for their spices, very easy and delicious.

I love ALL of the NYShuk product but the shawarma blend makes cooking so easy! The spice blend works for more than just middle eastern flavors — it's great for seasoning meat for tacos. Makes me feel like im cheating in the kitchen it's so easy and delicious.
