Q: Will I be able to transfer my books from kindle to kobo?
A: Look online for Calibre videos and taking off the DRM of OWNED books. It’s easy to put your paid-for Kindle books onto Kobo.
submitted byMe25 - 2 months agoA: Hello Perla! Thank you for your question. Transferring books directly from Kindle to Kobo isn't possible, Kobo works with its own ecosystem and has its own marketplace and subscriptions. There are ways to read some of your Kindle books on a Kobo device. For non-protected files, you can add non-protected PDF and ePub files to your Kobo eReader using your computer. Keep in mind that many Kindle books cannot be transferred due to DRM restrictions. Thanks! BlueProton CS

Q: can kobo e reader connect with cloud library through public library system.
A: Hello Gan! Thank you for your question. Yes, the Kobo Clara Colour eReader can connect with cloudLibrary through the public library system, but not directly. Here's how it works: cloudLibrary is a service for borrowing eBooks from your public library. To use cloudLibrary with your Kobo Clara Colour, you'll need to: • Download books to your computer • Transfer them to your eReader. For specific instructions, it's best to contact your local library's technical support if they support cloudLibrary. Alternatively, the Kobo Clara Colour has built-in OverDrive functionality, which allows you to borrow content directly on your device. This is often easier to use than cloudLibrary. For more detailed information on using OverDrive or cloudLibrary, consider reaching out to your local library's support team. Have a great day! BlueProton CS

Q: So we can download books from libby, but can we use kindle unlimited on Kobo?
A: Hello Tanesha! Thank you for your question. No, Kindle Unlimited is not available on Kobo devices or apps. However, Kobo offers its own subscription service called Kobo Plus. With Kobo Plus, you can read and listen to as many eBooks and audiobooks as you want each month for a fixed price. Their service is available on Kobo eReaders and the Kobo Books app. Not every eBook from Kobo is included in the subscription, but hundreds of thousands of titles are available, with more being added regularly. Have a great day! BlueProton CS

Q: Can you use the hoopla app on this?
A: Hello! Thank you for your question! Unfortunately you cannot use Hoopla App on a Kobo Clara Colour. Kobo does not support apps like Hoopla natively because they run a proprietary operating system that only supports Kobo's own bookstore and OverDrive for borrowing eBooks.
