However, it offers native support for OverDrive, allowing you to borrow and download digital library books directly to the device without the need for an external app like Libby. This integration enables you to access ebooks from participating libraries seamlessly. To utilize this feature, you'll need an active library card from a library that supports OverDrive. Availability of specific titles depends on your library's collection. It's advisable to check if your local library offers OverDrive services to make the most of this functionality. Thanks! Q: Is this compatible with Kindle books?
A: Hello Tanya! We are sorry for the late reply. This question got lost for some reason. Kobo is designed to work with Kobo's ecosystem. Kindle books are designed to work exclusively within Kindle ecosystem, which includes its own devices and apps. Unfortunately, Kindle's proprietary format and DRM (Digital Rights Management) make it incompatible with Kobo devices. If you own Kindle books that are DRM-free you can convert them into a Kobo-compatible format like EPUB using software like Calibre. However, this process may require technical knowledge and is subject to copyright laws in your region. Kind Regards, BlueProton CS
