Q: Are they dishwasher safe
A: I also have put the rings on the top track of the dishwasher with no problems. I always hand wash the base so I don't know if that's dishwasher safe. Just so you know, there was absolutely no instructions on the box or pamphlet inside regarding how to or how not to wash.
submitted byGranger - 7 years agoA: No, they are hand-wash only.
submitted byMomOfThreeGirls - 8 years agoA: I have put the rings on the top rack and they have been just fine! The mold itself is hand wash only.

Q: Can I use popsicle sticks instead of the ring? I don't wanna risk losing the rings when we have visit. Thanks!
A: Sure! You could give it a try. You may have a little difficulty getting them out of the cup, but I bet if you turn them over and run water over them they will release.
submitted byldl7535 - 7 years agoA: If you do, just push them out from the bottom (since it's silicone and flexible) - no need to melt them a little with water :) Just keep in mind that they'll be messier with just a stick since it won't have that flat base underneath to slow the drips... Eat outside? ;)

Q: Can these be used to make hard candy lollipops? Or will the plastic melt?
A: Sugar will melt at temperatures of 320 ° F, our silicone molds can handle up to 428° F. The silicone portion of the mold is the only part that can handle that level of heat. The plastic body/support will not hold up. That is why, when making candy or chocolate with the silicone molds, we recommend that it is done very carefully and that the mixture is allowed to cool as much as possible before being poured into the molds. We also do not recommend that the sticks be inserted until the mixture has cooled to prevent them from melting.

A: The Mold is made from silicone. All of Koji products are BPA & Phthalate free. The ring sticks are made out of polypropylene and it too is BPA & Phthalate free.
