This used to be the best psyllium. I’d go out of my way to find it and spend extra for it. Then Konsyl filled the bags with finely powdered psyllium that will not dissolve and causes unnatural bowel movements. So I’m moving on.

I actually put this in our dog's food. It was recommended by the vet and helps to keeps him regularly. He is fine with the taste and conistency, and the price / value for the money is also good. I have gone other places and it is much more expensive. The key s 100% psyllium fiber, which surprisingly is not easy to find (no flavors or additives). I definitely recommend.

It does the job. One thing I don't like is that with every change in the packaging over the years, the product has gotten finer grained. It is now just dust. It floats on water like talcum powder and nothing short of a blender will make it mix. I prefer a less processed version.

I should start off by saying that I've used Konsyl for many years and it remains part of my daily regimen. However, I just bought several new bags and there must be a new formula because the texture is finer and more powdery. As a result, it is more difficult than ever to mix well with water and when you drink it, the clumps stick to the roof of the mouth and are very difficult to get off. The clumps on the roof of my mouth would not budge using my tongue, so I had to try to get them off with a toothbrush. It took several brushings to get them off. Why would Konsyl change the formula without thorough testing? And it costs a fortune! I don't think I can ever use this product again.

I have used Konsyl every morning for many years with great results, excellent product. However, the consistency recently changed and it is no longer easy to use. I've always used the handy shaker cup but now it must be stirred, not shaken, and still refuses to dissolve. Not nearly as easy for traveling as it once was. So disappointed in this change.

My husband and I have been very satisfied with this product for probably five years. Our problem is we just bought four more bags and the product is ground so finely that it is difficult to mix, to get down, and frankly it does not work as well. I don’t know what happened, but all texture has been removed and it’s like baby powder consistency. Who can I speak to for a refund for these four bags? We will happily wait to see if the formula changes back before we buy more.

I was looking for a fiber option to mix in yogurt or smoothies. I read so many great reviews and thought I’d give it a try. Mixed 1tsp initially with tea because I was eager to try. Within moments it became a glue like gooey consistency and was unable to drink. I thought ok I’ll try my greek yogurt. Mixed in and ate immediately. Followed by an 8 oz glass of water. Gritty but I was able to get it down after dinner. I was completely unprepared to woken up in the middle of the night to vomiting. Will be tossing out stat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t use this for it’s exact purpose. I use this for gluten free baking actually. It has really helped with the rise and texture of the bread. You only need a little bit of the fiber powder to help the bread have more elasticity to rise while not changing the flavor of the bread. This bag will last a long while for what I’m using it for.
