The conditioner for pretty much anyone. It's weightless, softening and it rinses clean. This can be used daily and will not cause build up.
How to:
1. After shampooing and rinsing, depending on the thickness of your hair, squeeze a dime to quarter-sized amount into your palm.
2. On wet hair, apply from the bottom and work your way up. Avoid putting conditioner at the root if your hair tends to get oily fast.
3. Wait 3 minutes and then rinse thoroughly.
Tip: Not rinsing conditioner thoroughly can cause build-up, so get in there.

submitted byManufacturer - 4 years agoBrand expertA: It appears that hydrolyzed wheat protein breaks down the gluten proteins into smaller pieces so there's no significant amount of intact gluten proteins. This may still be problematic for people with celiacs if it's in food but shouldn't be an issue in topical products as it's not ingested. I'm not an expert but that's what I found from looking it up online

Q: This product has proteins in it but it's marketed as a daily use conditioner. I thought doing daily protein treatments was bad for your hair.

This Kristin Ess conditioner does absolutely nothing for my hair. It does not condition it, it does not make it shiny, aind it does not help with frizz. It is fragrance free, though!

this fragrance free shampoo + conditioner gave me a horrible allergic reaction (hives, contact dermatitis). If you are sensitive at all do not use this! It is not worth the trip to urgent care. It is also not worth the expense of prescription ointment needed to treat the allergic reaction this caused.

This conditioner is supposed to be fragrance free. I believe it is, but with that comes a chemical smell. When I use it, it rinses all over my body and I can smell it after I get out of the shower. I do like the way it makes my hair feel though. So, I put some essential oil in it to help mask the smell. Problem with that is that I am sensitive to scents…. It’s just a shame because it could be so good if it just didn’t smell the way it does!

Fragrance Free is my new go to for hair care and body care. I love the fact that fragrance free products do not interfere with fragrances that I wear on my body. This conditioner does not leave my hair feeling greasy or weighed down. I also use Kristin Ess Fragrance Free Shampoo and the pair work great together.

This has to be one of the worst conditioners I’ve ever used. I have mid-length brown hair. It’s fine, but I have a lot of it, and it tends to be on the dry side. Shampooing and conditioning with this “shine enhancing” formula left my hair tangled and matted. I could barely get a detangling brush through it. And it definitely didn’t leave my hair shiny - quite the opposite. It looked dull and felt wooly. I have no idea why it has such a high rating. The only nice thing about this product is the packaging and that it’s unscented.

A lot of the reviews explained that it made their hair very dry but I had the exact opposite experience with this shampoo. It made my hair very greasy. At first I thought I did not wash my hair properly, after a few try’s with the shampoo and doing my regular hair care routine my hair was extremely greasy at the top of my head and I would have to rinse it out with a different shampoo. The bottle is also very flimsy.

This conditioner seriously SAVED MY HAIR!!!! I get my hair colored once every 5 months or so, and this conditioner helped bring my hair from feeling like dry straw to soft and silky after just a few uses. I would highly recommend this product! It also does not have any scent which is nice for those of us who prefer hypoallergenic products :)

I’m back to buy the large size of this shampoo and conditioner almost exactly a year later. I initially tried the smaller bottles when I was looking for something relatively clean during pregnancy. I liked the formula, but hated the plastic on the smaller bottles. I splurged (for me) on the pump bottles. The pump works great and they are absolutely worth the price especially for a whole year’s supply! For context, I have shoulder length 2A-2B wavy hair, wash my hair ~2-3x/week and am sensitive to some fragrances. This line leaves my hair clean and shiny, is weightless, no irritation, and promotes my natural wave pattern and even a little bit of definition. Highly recommend. (I find I still benefit from a periodic scalp scrub though. It does still leave some residue.)

I just tried these after the Kristen-Ess gloss treatment so that may the cause of the issue. Either way after washing and blow drying my hair looks like I didn’t even shower! It looks like when my hair is dirty. My roots where super oily and my ends were dry. Really disappointed.

I love this conditioner. It leaves my hair very soft and you don’t need a ton to do it’s job. I would say it does help with shine but I have naturally wavy hair and it’s hard to tell if it’s shiny or not. I would definitely repurchase it

I do not care for this stuff. It is SUPER lightweight and has a weird texture on the hair… not creamy, kinda soapy imo. My hair does not feel conditioned or soft nor does this allow me to brush out my hair after a shower easily (like a normal conditioner would do) I have been trying to get through it because I’m not wasteful, so I’ve been using it on days when I just feel like my hair’s in a ok mood and doesn’t need anything special/specific, but I won’t be buying it again.

This is the best conditioner I have ever used! I use this with multiple different shampoos depending on hair need that day. This conditioner leave my hair so shiny! People who know me have commented and asked what I use because its so much better. I leave it in for several minutes on weekends, but during the week, a quick apply and rinse still gives me luxurious, shiny, tangle free hair that gets comments from passers-by. The fact that it is fragrance free is a bonus. I have a very sensitive scalp and this does not irritate it one bit. My hair has grown thicker and I have less hair loss in the shower since starting this conditioner. I do mix up the shampoo I use, which helps prevent build-up, but I do that with every conditioner. I have used many "deeply conditioning" conditioners but this is truly the best I have found.
