Q: Hi! I am wondering if the nozzles on the Kristin Ess hair sprays have been fixed? Many reviews on both hair sprays comment on how difficult the nozzle is to use.

A: Thanks for your question! Not to worry, that is normal, all new bottles will come this way. Our aerosol products have a locking system at the actuator to avoid product tampering and leaking in transit. Even if the product is spraying, if it is still difficult, the actuator lock may not be fully released. With the actuator on our aerosol products, you may have to press extra hard to release the lock. Try holding the bottle in both hands and with both thumbs, press down really hard. When you hear a big 'click', then you have fully broken the seal and will be able to spray the product easily.

I don't typically use hairspray but this one right here is AMAZING. it's a lightweight combable hold but it holds your style all day long. It's affordable at most drug stores. It leaves a slight shine to your hair and smells good. The nozzle could definitely use an upgrade though because it gets stuck.

I love the level of hold for my fine hair and how soft my hair still is! It’s not crunchy or sticky. I really don’t like the smell but put up with it because the end product of my hairstyle is so good!

It’s not terrible by any means, but it really doesn’t have hold at all. The smell is lovely and it doesn’t get crunchy or greasy or too heavy. If you’re looking for anything more than an EXTREMELY light shine/defrizz, I’d go elsewhere for styling.

Forget it, the nozzle is an issue. It breaks off because it is attached by a flimsy piece of plastic in one place-leaving you unable to use the product! You can read the other reviews that agree with this. Get this fixed Kristen Ess!

I tried this with high hopes, but it didn’t do the trick. Smells good, is light weight, but essentially has no hold. If you want your hair to fall a lot after spraying, then you’ll like this but not for me. Loved the bottle though!

So I thought I hated it, until I used another one instead for a long time, then went back to this one and realized it was so much better. It keeps my annoying flyaways down but it does have a bad smell and can feel crunchy to the touch unless you comb it out. I can deal with the smell because it goes away fast. But the worst part is the NOZZLE that always clogs and leaks. If they fix this, it would be 4 stars. Bottle lasts a long time too.

I really love this product, but the nozzle drives me crazy! It feels like half the time I purchase I have to go back and exchange for a new one, because the nozzle either leaks or clogs and doesn’t spray properly. It’s too expensive for this to happen so often!

My sister in law got me on this hairspray. She said it was her favorite! I already use the dry shampoo so she gave me her brand new bottle on hairspray to try! It smells great and leaves my hair feeling “natural”! Definitely a new go to!

This has an extremely strong chemical scent not a fan ! It makes your hair crunchy and also greasy ! Leaves a waxy dill residue and zero shine also not a great hold I can pass there's other sprays that are much better .

Doesn’t do much or hold if you have any texture to your hair. The nozzle can be faulty. If I could return it I would - won’t reach for this unless the other hair sprays that I have run out. One positive: my hair does feel a little softer after using it but not a huge difference.

I love this hairspray because it is very light and doesn’t leave hair feeling hard or crunchy. It allows the hair to move and be brushed through after application. For this reason, doesn’t hold hair exactly as styled, but great for loose waves or curls
