moisturized and looking shiny. It's hard to find a shampoo, particularly a sulfate-free shampoo, that does both really well.

How to:
1. Depending on the thickness of your hair, dispense a dime to quarter-sized amount
into your palm.
2. Apply to wet hair, massaging into the scalp to create a rich lather.
3. Rinse clean and repeat if necessary.
Tip: If my hair is extra oily or has a lot of product in it, I like to shampoo twice.

It smells amazing and I have long hair so I was skeptical about the small bottles but it lasted me for a long time actually it’s still about halfway full and I have had it for about a year or better now so. No hairloss at all and it’s been used by my daughter and son as well. So I think it’s great love her products

Q: How do you open the bottle? The most poorly designed pump bottle I have EVER dealt with. WASTE of money as I cannot use the bottle and now have to be hassled to return it when I specifically ordered it online so that I didn't have to go to the store.

A: Hello! Sorry for the inconvenience. For the pump, with dry hands, hold the collar of the pump and turn the nozzle piece counterclockwise until the pump pops up. Make sure the collar under the pump is tightly screwed into the bottle. We hope this helps!

I'm so glad I listened to all the good reviews for this and tried it! The Clarifying shampoo I used to use was no longer available and decided to try this one and glad I did. This actually deep cleans my hair removing all build up and residue but without drying it out and making it feel rough. It has a great lather and a nice scent that isn't too strong. I love that it not only removes product build up and residue but also minerals and silicones too. I use this shampoo atleast twice a month and always follow with a good deep conditioner or hair mask and my hair stays looking fresh and clean but also soft and really shiny. I have combination hair with easily oily roots and dry ends and using this shampoo regularly in my routine has helped my hair with staying clean between washes. The packaging is really pretty yet simple and the price can't be beat for this great product. I hope this product stays forever!

I have only been using the shampoo. On the first wash I didn't notice anything. Then second and third wash within the next week or so, my hair was falling out in small clumps of about 10-20 strands. Just coming off in my hands. And I've had lots of single hairs all over my clothes. Nothing else has changed about my lifestyle. Reading similar reviews about hair loss related to this shampoo and other Kristen Ess shampoos...I won't be using this anymore. I'm curious why it's still in stock?

I've got really thick but fairly easy to manage hair and was just looking to change up my routine. I experienced almost immediate hair loss (I know normal range is losing like 500 strands a day-- I seriously lost enough I could braid it. I looked it up and sure enough lots of other folks too. The smell is also very... geriatric. I cannot emphasize enough how LITTLE I recommend this product and how MUCH I encourage you to get something else.

my hair tends to get greasy relatively fast so i needed a clarifying shampoo that was affordable and effective. i have tried other things from the brand, so i felt confident buying their shampoo. it lathers very nicely and is very effective and getting any product build up out of your hair. just be cautious to not use it too often because it can cause dryness. i’d recommend around two to three times a month.

I’m 40 this year and thought my hair loss was from aging. Then I thought maybe it’s from using Olaplex products after I shampoo. But didn’t make sense because I had been using them a year and my hair looked thicker. But, I quit Olaplex because it has reviews on hair loss also. But, Io had been using Kristen Ess the past 4 months and didn’t look up the hair loss people are experiencing. It’s not a joke, I’ve lost half my hair. I went to my doctor to run a bunch of tests on me because of my hair loss specifically. Everything came back within normal range. I’m worried my hair will not grow back at my age. This has been horrifying!

Good clarifying shampoo! Does what I need a clarifying to do. Get my hair squeaky clean without making it too dry. I use it after removing my tape in extensions & this does a good job or removing any leftover sticky residue. Also not expensive at all!

Save yourself!! I have been using this shampoo and conditioner for a couple months. At first, I loved the smell and I thought my hair looked relatively shiny. Recently, I have noticed a tremendous amount of hair loss in the shower and when brushing. My hair used to be so much thicker. I will not be using these products any longer.

I used to buy this shampoo and conditioner exclusively. I started losing a lot of hair but was told it was from age. Then I reluctantly switched to another brand temporarily because I needed something cheaper. I started to notice I wasn’t losing hair like crazy anymore, so I didn’t switch back to Kristin Ess. Now months later my hair is really thick again and I’m getting compliments on the thickness and how nice it looks. Someone asked me if I had colored my hair because it looks nicer. I’ve only changed shampoo/conditioner.
