I love the fact that these are so simple to make since I have a 2 year old. I add in a few dark chocolate chips and use fairlife skim milk and sooo good. Tastes like a chocolate chip cookie dipped in oikos yogurt. Lots of protein and as someone trying to build muscle and lose some pounds it’s fantastic and my new go to. For those who are confused by the label.. It’s 15g of protein for a half of a cup mix. So if you use 1 cup of protein mix then it is 30g of protein. That’s why on the back of the box it states to clarify that it’s 1 cup mix, ⅔ cup water or milk, and 15g of protein PER SERVING. Hope that helps someone.

I don't get what people are complaining about the protein. The box clearly states 15G per serving on the front and on the back where they are telling you what proportions to use. I have been enjoying these pancakes for years. I usually add pecans and fresh blueberries. Yummy 😋

Decent Pancakes for a Protein Boost

We are a Krusteaz Pancake loving family and we typically buy the traditional buttermilk mix. We decided to give these try because of the protein boost. I always use milk and egg when making pancakes and these cook up just like the traditional mix. The flavor is okay. They don't taste bad but they don't taste as good as the usual pancakes. The kids absolutely refused to eat them (the 9 year old said that they "smell sus" 🤦‍♀️) but the adults in the house all enjoyed them with a little bit of butter and sugar free syrup.

Please clarify if nutrition facts or the back of the box is correct regarding serving size. This is very very important for a gym rat. Thank you.

Excellent flavor but nutrition info confusing?

Incredible flavor but as noted below the nutritional information (on the box) doesn't add up. It says 15g for 1/2 cup serving on the nutrition facts label but on the back of the box where the instructions/recipe is it says 1 cup is 15g protein. Can someone PLEASE clarify??

So much better than Kodiak

These are so much better than Kodiak. I make the high protein recipe for pancakes and waffles. My grandson loves mini-waffles made with the mix because he can pick them up and just eat them with some butter. I don't understand the review that says they are dry - I've never experienced that at all. I do add cinnamon and a little bit of Splenda and vanilla when I'm making waffles to sweeten them up. Almond extract would be great as well!

I gave these a try after Kodiak because they’re cheaper. Overall still prefer the Kodiak batter consistency to the Krusteaz batter. Don’t get me wrong they’re still good I just wish the package was updated on the nutrition facts. The nutritional facts doesn’t add up with the back of the box.

I started a high protein diet right before I had bypass and love carbs and it was hard to cut out a lot of my favorite breakfast items. There is a small taste difference but not a bad change.

Great taste and great protein content

I usually make a whole box at a time and just multiply the milk/eggs x4 (and usually add a bag of milk chocolate chips or half bag each of Hershey’s cinnamon and cream cheese chips for a cinnamon roll theme). Gives me 16-18 large pancakes and they taste just like normal pancakes, maybe better, despite having about 20 grams of protein each! Then I freeze the leftovers (which is usually 14-16 pancakes) with wax paper separating them and every morning for the next couple weeks I’ll pop one in the microwave for 40 seconds for a quick breakfast. Highly recommend, I’ve already recommended to several of my friends who wanted to increase their daily protein

Nice protein - a bit dry

I bought these because they’re cheaper than the Kodiak brand. I’m not a huge pancake person but have been craving some lately. I made a single serving with one egg, almond milk and blueberries. They fluffed up and cooked like normal pancakes. But overall they were a bit more dense and dry even with the blueberry juice. Flavor was spot on to normal pancakes.

Flavor is delicious when made with pineapple cottage cheese and egg whites instead of oil and eggs. Light and fluffy and just the right amount of sweet. YUM!

Didn't even notice it was a protein pancake mix (flavor-wise that is…)! Delicious, ate it with syrup and sliced fruit on top! It says to not overmix…so I didn’t…not sure what would happen then…maybe get too tough? I also used a milk alternative…I think almond milk or soymilk and I didn’t miss using regular milk at all! Would definitely buy again! Yum!

I make pancakes and waffles with this mix I love how much protein I’m getting. Don’t need to many ingredients just add water how easy is that. I use fresh fruit to add more flavor and nutrients to the mix. I would pick this over aunt jemima any day!

My daughter is watching her protein intake and this is a great way for her to get 15 grams per serving, in a yummy easy to mix up pancake mix. Just add water stir and flapjack away! Also good for waffles.

Ok seriously my favorite protein pancake mix of all time. I used to use kodiak and got tired of it because of the texture. This you can’t even tell it’s protein packed so it’s perfect for breakfast, a snack, or a sweet craving. I buy this every week!!
