i'm not sure if the quantity is reduced..I know that the box size is. Also not sure that this previously"natural flavor"
May be gluten free but they're NOT CELIAC SAFE!!

My son has celiac and his grandma made these for him. Within 30 minutes he was in horrible pain. He now has full body aches, stomach pain and a headache (Celiac gluten attack). DEFINITELY NOT CELIAC SAFE!!!!

I am sorry to hear that your son fell ill. Our Krusteaz Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookies are certified gluten free by the Gluten-Free Certification Organization, which requires that the product have a gluten threshold of less than 10 parts per million (ppm); it also requires the manufacturing facility be certified as well as all ingredients in the product. This threshold is twice as strict as the thresholds required by the WHO and the FDA. Some people with celiac disease may be more sensitive than these requirements; or are more sensitive to cross-contamination in shared cooking spaces than others. We would like to gather information about the box you've mentioned here, so that we may report it to our Quality Assurance team for their review. I got excited when i saw these in my local grocery store as I have celiac disease and was craving a good chocolate chip cookie. They are pretty easy to make and let them cool completely before i tried them. They are extremely hard, not sweet at all and they just have a strange taste and after taste to them. Never buying again. Next time I’ll just make my own mix.

Definitely our favorite out of the box gluten free chocolate chip cookies! Great to keep on hand, they have a nice long shelf life. Quick and easy to follow, makes about 24 smaller cookies give or take. Fairly priced and can be going at most grocery stores.

For a gluten free option this is a pretty good brand. And if you are a good baker then you can make just about anything good. However, it is still a bit dry of a cookie if made as directed. I can barely write this review right now...after trying the regular chocolate chip cookies noticing that after you eat these cookies you will begin to go into a trans like state, you get very tired and sleepy without any ability to think for hours, and you cannot fight it,so we bought the gluten free and wow it knocked me completely out for hours, when trying to get up you can't, its like the greatest sleeping pill ever, I feel violated! It's happened to not only me but my family member. What ever chemicals they are putting in this stuff basically takes control of your brain and shuts it off.....BUYER BEWARE! If you have trouble sleeping buy their cookies you will sleep like a champ, I don't recommend you eat these if you are driving or at work seriously its horrible. But as far as taste, no problem, going straight to sleep though....disaster.

I wanted to make chocolate chip cookies at home and gluten free so I gave these a try and they turned out perfectly! I used plant based butter and followed the instructions and they were loved by my son as well. I will definitely repurchase this over and over.

I am grateful that Krusteaz makes so many gluten free products. There cookies are decent, just not my favorite. I think it’s the texture of the cookie that’s a little too different from normal cookies that makes me not love it.
