Kurgo Wander Hammock Dog Crate Cover - Charcoal Gray

This hammock works well in the back seat of our car. It protects the seat from the dog's nails and whatever dirt and mess she tracks in. I have hand washed it in the sink and hung to dry with no issues. The hammock design keeps our dog from falling into the footwells. It is easy to transfer from one car to another. I wish it had side flaps to cover and protect the side of the seats so when the dog gets in she's not scratching the seats or flipping up the side of the hammock when she gets in. Overall, it has worked well.

I’ve had this for about 2 months and I dont think I’d purchase again unfortunately. I love the brand but this missed the mark a bit. I have a Subaru forester and it is just a bit too small, the zipper doesn’t lock so it unzips a lot, and my dogs fairly short well kept nails punctured 2 holes in the fabric fairly quickly. I will say the adjustable straps don’t slip much so that’s been great. But overall for the price I don’t think I’d buy again.

I had previously owned three seat protectors for dogs. The Wander Hammock is, by far, the best. I really like the one piece construction for it's strength. Turley a great product at a reasonable price.

I've had two of these over the years and they're very durable ,waterproof and washable.

This is actually my third one since 2016. The first one lasted about 4 years ( that one was tough!) The second one fell apart In a short time when it was washed and the third one lasted about three years till it started to shred and fall apart. I absolutely love this product for traveling with my Rottweiler but be prepared they only last about three + years. Maybe if you have a smaller dog they will last longer. These are great for long trips because they take my dog to the Outer Banks which is about an 8 Hour drive And she also also does Scent work. I know she is very comfortable When traveling.. To me, this offsets the price of replacing it every few years.

I was initially impressed by this hammock when I first bought it, but it has really disintegrated over the two years we've had it. One of the seat anchor straps fell off almost immediately, and the nylon backing now cracks and peels off in chunks. For this price point I would expect better quality.

I have a 50 lb and 70 lb dog. My larger dog is usually really good about staying fully on the seat, so I know the wear and tear is not from her. We have had our hammock for a little under a year, and it is at the very end of its life. For the price, I don't really think it's that great of a product for dogs over 30 lbs. Another thing I don't like about it, but this is just a me thing not a fault of the product, is my dogs can get on the floor by the doors and up to the front of the vehicle very easily. This also doesn't come with seat belts for harnesses like several other products do in the same price range. I would not recommend this to someone who has a medium sized or larger dog.

Within 4 months the waterproofing layer was peeling off. Kurgo was great to give me a new one to replace it, but now even that one started to peel. We wash the cover by hand and air dry it. No idea what is going on.

I’ve tried essentially every brand of dog seat cover and this is the only one that hasn’t ripped or torn. Super durable! Can handle my 100 lb rescue. Well worth the money.

Fragile grommets and zipper. Material of hammock was adequate, but grommet rings broke fairly quickly after purchase and center zipper needed repair almost right away. Grommet rings could be replaced with zip ties.

Love the material and concept ...but unfortunately since they use cheap plastics clips it broke after the first week of use....☹️☹️

We purchased the Kurtz Wander Hammock for a road trip with our rescue pup. Overall quality is good (compared to a lot of products on the market), but overall design and engineering has some serious flaws! Whoever though of putting a zipper in the middle of the hammock that doesn’t lock and/or stay closed has never travelled with a pup! Very disappointed as I thought we had found the perfect road trip solution. Back to the drawing board…. We will be returning it!

We just got back from a SF->Seattle round trip car drive for Thanksgiving and this product worked great for our Acura TSX wagon and 55# Standard Poodle. The dog refuses to stay in the "way back" of the wagon, so this provided her a place to chill out and watch out the window. It prevents her from falling into the footwells during a sudden stop, and still allows her to be close to us and stare out the window for the 36 hours of driving. I like that it has seatbelt access, as I was able to install a tether and harness to keep her safer in the event of an accident. One tip ... install it in your car a few days before, and if you can leave your windows open in the garage, as the product does smell a bit when you first install it (kind of like new material and plastic). This fades after a few days.

My pup gets car sick so I bought this hoping to protect my seats. After driving on a bumpy road this weekend, he puked and it soaked straight through the hammock. It fits well in my Subaru, but it's definitely not waterproof

The fit was perfect in my RAV4. First signs of dog drool from my Belgian Tervuren beaded up immediately.

Love this hammock - it's exactly what I needed it to be. The canvas material is durable and strong enough to easily support our 40 lb dog (and I'd assume much bigger). It fits right into our Honda-CRV and was pretty easy to adjust the straps and sizing to make it the exact right fit. I also like the design where it gives a little bit of a barrier so that your dog can't try to put her paws on the center console and climb up into the front seats. Long story short, this definitely keeps my dog safer (no getting thrown around when I have to hit the breaks suddenly) and keeps my car cleaner from dog hair.

Great design, well built, easy to set up. Just what I was looking for.

The hammock is easy to install and holds onto the bench backseat nicely. I combined it with the tow line for my dog, who is growing to enjoy the car.
