Naturally, I have very dark brown hair, almost black. I normally use the light brown color, which gives me a medium brown that fades quickly to a brassy brown. I tried the light ash brown color to try to reduce the brassiness. However, it came out right away pretty brassy and orange. It is also not very even. Zero gray coverage and this will turn orange fast but I like that it lifts my color.

Don't get me wrong, I love this product and I've been using it for years. It actually improves the condition of my hair. My problem is that the last box I received had been opened and someone had used part of the kit. They put the empty tube back in the box, taped it up and returned it! Who does that?? Sadly, this also feeds my suspicion that Target unloads its products with tattered, damaged packaging on unsuspecting drive-up customers.

I got the auburn red color, and considering I already have light brown hair, there would be no issue reaching the color. I followed the directions to a T, and I ended up with a brown color with a little red at the roots. Very disappointed. The color was not even close to what it showed on the box

Happy with the color treatment, but I feel that your conditioner has changed, and I am super unhappy as that it's taken me 2 times of dying hair to realize that it doesn't deep condition any more hair is breaking and dry bummer I've used this product a very long time and am now considering stopping coloring my hair.
