Q: Does the medium shade cover gray? I have about 65% gray hair. Most of it is on my temples and hairline in the front.

Q: Why would this high lift Féria COOL light brown turn my med brown hair ( color treated ) reddish undertones if it’s cool not warm not golden not caramel it’s COOL! Thought it would be more on the ash side then warm golden reddish side? Thank you!
A: Hi JessicaG! Thanks for reaching out to us regarding Feria Hi-Lift haircolor. We can understand how frustrating it would be if your haircolor does not come out as planned. If you have previous color on your hair it is difficult for another color to lighten through that deposit. The result is usually a brassy/orange or gold result. You can safely re-color within 24 hours to cover this up if you like as long as your hair and scalp are in good condition. If you choose not to color again, the best thing to do would be to shampoo with a regular shampoo, not for color treated hair. This will help the color lighten and fade. So if I color it again with the same color, over it, like adding another layer, it will take away brassy orangy looking color? And look more like the picture...meaning a bit cooler!?
