If i could give this mascara zero stars, i would. The flaking happens almost immediately after you put it on. Gets in your eyes, all over your under eye, I’ve never seen anything like it. So annoyed that i threw the package away before trying it. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

I was afraid by the name it would smudge too easily but I find it goes on smoothly and doesn't seem to flake like all over like others do on me. The brown is dark & rich and goes perfectly with my red hair. Also doesn't seem to irritate my sensitive eyes like most mascaras. The tube looks nice and feels like good quality and I like how the brush coats all my lashes without depositing excess on my skin. May be one of my fav mascaras ever!

I just started using this, as I was looking for something I can wear all the time that isn’t too dramatic, but not simply clear mascara. I LOVE this stuff. The brown complements my eye color, and it only flakes if I do too many coats but EVERY mascara flakes for me.

I purchased the Brown Balm and am very happy with it. I have cancer and have lost lashes as well as they are shorter and fragile. There are many companies that offer mascara for cancer patients at a very steep price. I appreciate Loreal making a product that conditions and is gentler on eyelashes while not making a profit off of populations that may specifically benefit from this.

This Mascara is not voluminous, at all. After three coats, it's still nowhere near the the regular voluminous mascara. Can you please just bring back Bambi Eye? So many people thought I had fake lashes, that's how long my lashes got with Bambi Eye.

First off, this is a nice wet mascara, which I love, and the color is beautiful. I was a big fan of the cleaner ingredients and was very eager to try this. Now, when you pull the wand out of the tube, there appears to be no inner collar (or at least not a sufficient one) to collect all of the excess mascara. The wand comes out absolutely gobbed, and you have to scrape it 57 times to get it down to an appropriate amount to apply. Once on, it looks beautiful and feels very nice. However, the wear is a joke and it flaked all over my face. Unfortunately I'll be returning this tomorrow.

I have hooded eyes and long lashes, and this mascara doesn’t smudge onto my brown bone as most other black mascaras and eyeliners do. However, it flakes/smudges onto my under eye area which is almost never a problem with other mascaras. I like the very natural looking coverage it provides. It washes off easily with just soap and water in the shower. I wouldn’t recommend this mascara because of the flaking but I like the effect it gives for about 2 hours lol

My experience is much different from some of the other reviews. I have been a long time user of the original Voluminous mascara, but when I saw this version with less harmful ingredients I had to try it. I love it! It feels much smoother going on and I find it to be less clumpy than the original. I have never noticed any flaking and find it comes off very easily with makeup remover. I will continue using this knowing it is better for me with the same, if not better, results.

Loreal voluminous mascara has been the Only one I have used for almost 8 years. The new "washable" are not. They don't come off with my cleanser, which was always the case. I need 3 plus pads of make- up remover. Also It does not give me the thick lashes it used to. I have tried another "new" one and have the same problem. Go BACK to your old formula

The color is very good and one of the few brown mascaras that actually truly looks brown. However, that is the only reason I give it at most two stars. Because other that, nothing is good about this mascara. You need multiple coats for it to look like you did anything. I’m all for multiple coats because I usually do 3-4 but with this mascara you need way more, I lost count. On top of that, it is very flaky, to the point that it’s flaking before I even get a chance to remove the extra mascara from my eyelids. I do not recommend this product. I typically love L’Oréal mascara but just don’t get this one, trust.

Prior to using this mascara, I had never had a stye or eye infection. After using this, I have had two infections in a matter of months. I am a contact lens wearer and diligent about sanitary eye care. Needless to say, I won’t be using it any longer.
