There’s something in this cream that’s making me break out. I tested by stopping use, my face cleared up, then use it again and get weird breakouts I’ve never experienced before. And they HURT! Thought this brand was reputable and based on price had quality ingredients, but it didn’t work for me and just made my skin worse since I don’t ever breakout, especially not this bad. I have sensitive skin, oily, but can get dry in the winter. A little bit goes a long way, so if it were a product that worked for me, the price is fair as it’ll last a long time. But it’s terrible for my skin, so if you’re considering it, just know it might make you break out really bad, like other reviewers have also mentioned. I don’t recommend this product.

Burns and is the last time I will try chemical sunscreen. I will just have to look like a grey, sometimes whitecasted ghost. At least this sunscreen doesn't at this review 3.18.2025 contain these ingredients: sodium chloride and Decamethylcyclopentasiloxane or Cyclopentasiloxane.

This is a go-to moisturizer! It is light weight and hydrating, I sometimes wish it was thicker but for daily use it is great. I usually go for another thicker cream when I am doing a full makeup look.

I love the cleanser in this line so I figured the moisturizer should work well for me. Unfortunately I was wrong. I’ve broken out substantially since starting to use it and my skin texture has changed dramatically, it’s clearly become dehydrated. I have combo skin and this is not even close to being moisturizing enough for me. It almost feels like applying a silicone primer.

I had to purchase this product because the Anthelios SX SPF 15 was discontinued. I started using it when La Roche Posay was a new item in the states which was probably 15+ years ago. I loved it and both of my sisters used it. It was enough sunscreen…not 50 which is too much and it was extremely moisturizing. I’m now 63 and have tried the toleriane a couple of times but throw it away because it does nothing and gives me 0 hydration. Very disappointed that my fave was discontinued.

Very lightweight. It did not break me out, but there's always a tingling sensation whenever I use it. I don't normally have sensitive skin and have no prior issues with other niacinamide-containing products (Cerave, Dr. G, etc.). Luckily, I only purchased the travel size.

At times, if this very hydrating moisturizer is layered under or over another hydrating skincare product that has not fully absorbed into skin, it can cause the moisturizer to ball up or “pill”. To help avoid this, we recommend allowing the first product you apply in your skincare routine to fully dry and absorb into skin until it feels dry to the touch before layering on the next product.
