Lands' End Women's Terry Short Sleeve Polo Cover Up Dress - White

I had high hopes for this, as I've purchased Lands End clothing & bags before. This didn't meet the standards that I had expected from them! It feels really thin & cheap material. It's more like a very thin towel than what I would expect from a cover up dress.

The Lands’ End Women’s Terry Short Sleeve Polo Cover Up Dress is incredibly comfortable. The brushed terry material is buttery soft and feels effortlessly cool and light on the body. My single complaint is the garment is hand wash only, which perplexes me as it seems durable enough to withstand a machine wash, but I’m hesitant to go against the care instructions. Sizing is generous. I ordered a M, which is my usual size in tops, bottoms and dresses/skirts, and this dress is very loose. It is a flattering fit, though, and a very nice beach/pool coverup.

Let's start off with saying that this item is made so well! The stitching it great and the fabric is high quality, soft, absorbent and it is a nice bright white to kick off memorial day weekend! Where I think this item misses is in its sizing and design. I am 5’2 and 105lbs and this XS is very long! I'd say it fits more like a medium. It lays a bit shapeless(sort of like a pajama gown) and also lacks pockets! We need pockets, even when we're hanging at the beach or basking by the pool!

Lands End brand is always a good bet. This white terry cover up is well made, comfortable and cute. I usually wear a size small in Lands End clothing and the size small is a good fit with this cover up too. The material is substantial but is not made to be worn as a dress as my swimsuit does show through a bit but on the beach, lake or poolside that’s not a problem. Really happy with this product.

Ready for the beach in my new terry cover up. Absolutely love the feel of the fabric, it’s so soft and comfy. I’m 5’7” and the length of the medium is just right for my granny body. Can’t wait to wear it on the beach and boat this summer.

This is the softest item I own! I was worried with it being white that my dark swim wear would show under it, but the fabric is so thick and plush that nothing can be seen. It is a nice length, and it looks enough like a casual dress to work for going to lunch or into shops on a beach trip. This is my new favorite cover up! It is well made, washes well, and is super comfortable. I highly recommend it!

Functional for the beach or pool days. I like the absorbent material. Being a Lands’ End branded coverup, I assumed it would run big. However, this was more true to size and even snug around my chest. I like how neutral it is - to go with any of my bathing suits and easy to accessorize.
