Q: How long is the cord?

A: Not long enough unfortunately to plug into a wall outlet (which is advised for all space heaters) if you want it standing near you or in the middle of a room. Bad design. :(

Q: How do you change the fan setting to low while also choosing a lower temp? Every time I change it (with the correct temp I want) to lower fan heat, it automatically jumps back to “max temp”. Frustrating!

To change the fan speed on the Lasko 5790 Portable Electric 1500 Watt Room Oscillating Ceramic Tower Space Heater, follow these steps: Using the Remote Control: Press the "Heat" button to toggle between the two heat settings: High Heat and Low Heat. Using the Heater's Control Panel: Locate the "Heat" button on the control panel. Press the "Heat" button to switch between High Heat and Low Heat settings. If your heater is only blowing heat on high, ensure that: The "Heat" button is functioning properly. The remote control has fresh batteries and is working correctly. If the issue persists, there might be a problem with the heater's internal controls, and it may require professional servicing.

As silly as it seems, I did a lot of research on find The right space heater. Yes, this Florida girl needs a space heater during the winter months because I don't like using the central heat. I was teetering between a couple of brands and I'm really glad that I ended up with this heater. After reading the positive reviews, I am pleased with my purchase. I received the heater within one day. It was supposed to come on Friday and it actually came One day after I ordered it, on Wednesday. It has a good output of heated air, as some tower heaters have small vents. It has all the options that you would need. Remote control is great. I also like the timer so I can keep it on for a little bit before I go to bed.

You can choose to have it oscillate or not, it has convenient timer settings of 1/2/4 hours with heat setting min 70 degrees up to 85! Living in Maine this is a must have helps with heating cost and I have not noticed any spikes in my electric bill.

It’s covers a large area evenly, which is very nice. There are no “extremely hot spots”. Big fan! Or big… heater?! 👍

This space heater has so many more features! You can make it oscillating, set it on a timer, and set it on a temperature so it turns on once it gets below. I use mine mainly in my living room and it keeps everything warm. I would get another 1 of this kindvif I needed it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The furnace at my house is upstairs in the attic so the upstairs gets hot naturally, and it’s carpeted, but the downstairs is hardwood and takes forever to warm up, making it miserable for anybody to sit downstairs comfortably. This heater was right on time. I love that it swivels you can set a timer on when to cut it off. You can set the temperature as well to your comfort. I love this so much and it warms the entire room.
