Laura Polko Volume Hair Shampoo - 13.5 fl oz

I love this product in general but my dislike is the packaging. While the bottles are beautiful in color and shape they are very hard. It’s difficult to squeeze with one hand as they are too thick.

I love this shampoo! Out of all the expensive products I’ve used this has been the best one. My only complaint is the bottle because it’s hard to take out the conditioner especially other than that it’s great.

I love what this product does for my hair but hate the bottle, I have a hard time squeezing it out. I would give five stars otherwise

4.5 stars! I was using Nexxus shampoo and conditioner (for fine hair) and it was weighing my hair down and it was looking greasy after just 12 hours. I switched to this Laura Polko line for fine hair and my hair has literally never been better AND I saved so much money by switching. My hair stays fresh looking for 3 days now. It's soft, shiny, and not frizzy if I use a dense brush after I blow dry. It is a little frizzy if I use a regular brush but that is literally because of the brush and not this product. My only complaint, which is what deducted half a point, is the bottle shape. It's really hard to squeeze out the contents sometimes, especially the conditioner. I have it jimmy-rigged in my shower to be upside-down and it's still a little hard to get out. If they make the bottles a little more flexible and/or change the shape, I will give that half point back 😂

The packaging is a huge fail, I agree with the comments, it may look cute but what is the point if the hair washed experience gets ruined but breaking your hands trying to get the products out, they need a new design. Smells good and does a good job at cleaning hair - I tried the volume version but won’t purchase it again

I won’t pretend to understand the Provolu plumping system, but I can attest that it works! Plus, the convenient packaging makes storing the shampoo and conditioner sleek and out of the way.

The scent was not overpowering and had a pleasant smell. I have fine hair and I did notice a difference in the volume after using this product. For it being a drug store, product, it is a great value that works great. I would definitely recommend this product.

I love the smell—-it’s a very good, clean smell that reminds me of a high end salon product. The shampoo is clear and letters nicely and left my hair and scalp feeling very clean. My hair was shiny all day and easily became smooth with my flat iron.

The bottle makes it hard to get product out. Once my hair dried after using for the first time, my hair started falling and I’m scared now.

Not a fan of the shape of the bottle. I hope they read the reviews and change the packaging. The conditioner smells like chemicals. It’s affordable which is why I wanted to try it.

The shampoo isn’t really anything special. It cleans my hair just fine. I have noticed that my hair is slightly more oily but it’s not unmanageable. The problem, however, is the shape of the bottle! At first it intrigued me and, in addition to the reasonable price, was honestly the main reason I grabbed it. I quickly learned it’s genuinely the worst packaging I’ve ever had to use. The triangular shaped bottle is made of thick plastic and is nearly impossible to squeeze. The formula is very thick (with the conditioner being even thicker still) so you kinda have to put a lot of pressure on the bottle to get it out. The wider side of the bottle is not squeezable at all and squeezing the narrow side doesn’t provide enough pressure to get the product out. I can’t imagine that anyone with hand mobility issues or arthritis would be able to use this product. When I’m done with this product I will NOT be repurchasing!

It is almost impossible to get the shampoo out of the bottle. Im not sure if its the shape of the bottle or if the plastic is too hard to squeeze.

It is affordable while still giving that high end feel. it smells amazing and get a very good lather so my hair feels clean after showering. The packaging is cool and isn’t like anything I have ever seen before but can be a little weird to work with at times.

I'm 62, with normal hair. After using the Volumizing shamoo and conditioner for 2 days, my bangs are greasy. The shampoo contains 2 different typs of oil. Why? I need to clean my hair then treat whatever I want to change. Shampoo can't treat volume, frizzy, etc. I wish I had read the ingredient list before purchasing. It even says on the bottle it contains macadamia nut oil. I know better. My fault. Won't purchase again. The oils make dirt and grease stick to your hair. So you absolutely have to wash every day. The conditioner is nice. But no way volumizing. I would actually say it's great for frizzy hair.

The shampoo really cleans my hair but it doesn’t strip it down from it’s natural oils to the point my scalp feels dry. When I use the shampoo and conditioner together my hair looks very shiny, feels very soft, smells and looks great. If you if you have fine hair and you still want the volume I would definitely recommend using the shampoo. The shampoo ladders very well and a little bit goes along way.I like that they sent is not overpowering.
