Q: How do you get this off demo mode. It doesn't do anything but play a video

A: The unit is in Try-Me mode. To exit this mode, follow the steps below: 1. Press the Power Button to turn on the unit. 2. During the video, press and hold these three buttons together for 5 seconds. 3. If Try-Me mode has been successfully turned off, “Try-Me mode has been disabled” will appear on the screen. If not, power off and repeat steps 1 and 2. 4. On the “Try-Me mode has been disabled” screen, there are 2 options to select: • Select the Play icon to start playing. • Select the Power icon to power off the device

A: If no microSD card is inserted into the device, photos will be saved to the unit’s internal memory, which can hold about 100 images. NOTE: This number will vary depending on the number of colors in the photo. Photos with more colors take up more memory, whereas photos with fewer colors take up less memory. • If a microSD card (not included) is inserted into the microSD Card Slot, all photos taken will be saved to the microSD card. The Magic AdventuresTM Binoculars device supports microSD cards up to 32GB. • The maximum number of photos that can be stored on a microSD card is 30,096. If more than 30,096 pictures are taken, the device will overwrite existing photos with the same file name. • Removing the microSD card or powering off the unit while taking a photo, deleting a photo, overwriting an existing photo, or while transferring a photo to the microSD card may cause the unit to freeze or result in the creation of corrupted photos. Corrupted photos will be displayed with an error icon in the Gallery.

When you turn on the screen after the introduction is shuts down automatically. I tried with new batteries and nothing changes. We bought another one it came with the same problem.

I don't know how this got such great reviews (except that the majority of them say they were collected as a promotion). My youngest got this for Christmas and was OBSESSED. Within the hour the camera froze and even taking the batteries out wouldn't fix it. Target was great and got us a new one. Within 5 minutes this new one was doing the same thing. Taking the batteries out at least worked to unfreeze it this time. I started to think maybe it was something he was doing. But then when I was messing around with it - it did the exact same thing to me. Nothing works to "unfreeze it". Will be returning this one in the morning. Such a bummer b/c it was such a cool concept and he loved it (well he loved the camera part - the binocular sucked from the get go!)

I got this for my seven year old daughter for Christmas and she LOVED it. BUT it overheated while she was using it and the batteries melted. Terrifying because it could have caught on fire. Now it is broken and unusable after one week of use.

They are packaged so nicely and make a perfect Christmas or birthday gift. They are easy to use and set up. Very tough and comfortable to use and handle. Not intuitive for my 4 year old who is used to touch screen. Labels on buttons are same color as button making it hard to see. My 4 year old is mostly using it to take photos, which I didn't even realize it did 🤣

It has so many interesting features, aside from zooming in and seeing the image on the screen, you can look up nature facts, play games, capture pictures, and it has night vision! I'm getting more for Christmas bc this is an easy win lol. Absolutely recommend!

They let you take pictures, look through and zoom, or go through the library to learn about different types of animals, etc. it’s recommended for age 4+, but my son is 2.5 and has had a blast playing with them.

This leapfrog binoculars allows you to take it safe pictures along with viewing educational videos of animals and on top of that even various gameplay again all educational three for one special that your little one would love 🤗 also forgot to mention that since it’s small, it’s very easy to carry around and it’s very lightweight

I can't even call this a toy, because it's a fabulous piece of equipment that would keep everyone entertained regardless of their age. The binoculars have a pop up screen which displays a multitude of educational videos and high resolution photos of animals. The installed camera takes decent photos and is a great source of entertainment for my toddler. The binocular lenses are actually surprisingly good and you get to see objects very far away. This is a great gift for any nature explorer. I do suggest kids 4 and older, even tweens and teenagers. Oh who am I kidding, adults would love it too.

He had issues with figuring stuff out and he is very tech savvy. I had some issues too. I would say it’s a 8+ toy for kids that are very interested in nature, watching animals etc. the camera quality for being a toy is really good but the night vision creeped us all out. I liked all the games, quizzes and videos/story’s from BBC. It would be nice if there was a SIM card slot for expansions! So it stays interesting for more than just few days. My son mostly loved the camera feature. The binoculars are very hard to look through and to get into the right settings but when it’s done, you can really see the tiny birds and squirrels we have running around.

I am not able to take a photo of him with it because he is so active with it. He is constantly lerarnig new things by pointing them out and showing them to me. I love that he loves this toy! These binoculars are so durable because my child is clumsy and drops and bangs it all the time. I am getting ready to purchase a few more of these to give to my nieces and nephews for Christmas!
