Fantastic purchase - great for teaching coding and as an educational gift!

I bought this as a gift for my grandson.

My son got this and the dinosaur stopped moving after two weeks. The wheels move but the dinosaur moves hardly a cm. It can't make any turns. Waste of money. Not sure if it can be returned because my son hardly played. I don't recommend

Easy to use and lots of fun for my 4 year old

This is very cute and would be amazing if it weren't for one horrible design flaw. When Rumble is left alone for too long, it will start moving in a random way. I presume this is to let you know it's on, but the time isn't very long. Every time I set up a scenario for my son to figure out, the dinosaur starts moving before he's figured out a solution. Have the time it knocks over whatever we've set up. So the only way for us to use this is to set up the challenge, keeping the dinosaur turned off. Then, when my son has come up with a solution to try, we have to turn the dinosaur on and then we can enter the instructions. This flaw makes it miserable to use.

5 year old completely engaged Great quality product Each element, Rumble, Bumble, the scene and the story book all engaging on their own Put them all together and they create a fantastic world Not all elements are needed to play - can use just Rumble Map / steps encourage younger siblings to join in For my 5 year old to program Rumble was fascinating Simple coding initially - just seeing him do what you ask is fabulous More complex coding comes later so the longevity of this product is 4 years at least.... Easy to program and instructions are easy to follow too Great value for money, actually very cute! Worthy of being a present for Christmas / Birthday for own child - excellent value for money in that sense Way too pricey to be a gift for someone else's child!!

Product looks great, Rumble and Bumble are very cute and ideal for our two dinosaur mad boys. It's robust, gets them thinking about how to get from A to B and has fun extras with the slide and rock archway that "breaks" when bumped into. They've particularly enjoyed making Rumble crash into these rocks. Does contain small pieces so not ideal with very small crawlers.

I am a big fan of toys that are fun and educational. My son really enjoys playing with Rumble and Bumble, they are cute and easy to use. Rumble is controlled by the keypad on his back, easily accessible by little or big fingers, you can program lots of instructions at once. Much to my son's delight as he sets Rumble off, crashing into the tree and rocks on his journey round the table. As it says it is completely screen free which is great. I really like the fact it can be used by a child as they please, then with an adult there can be structured learning. As my child grows he will be able to access the story by himself and further his knowledge of coding.

This is a brilliant early years coding toy, especially because it's screen free which is very rare these days. My son is 5 years old and he loved the toy from the minute he saw the box and was desperate to get Rumble out to play with! The toy is very easy to set up and the game play is easily explained. My son was easily able to set up the scene that goes with Rumble and Bumble and had great fun role playing and making up his own little stories. He was able to manage simple coding instructions but I did have to go through the book with him. In time I can see him being able to go through the book by himself and make up more advanced coding routes! From a parents perspective it was great to see his mind working out the simple coding needed to go back and forth and sideways, and from his perspective he has simply been having a great time making up his stories and enjoying Rumble and Bumble. A bag to put everything in once you need to tidy away would have been nice but that's a small negative among many positives. A great gift purchase

An imaginative toy that helps children learn the first steps of coding. This toy is aimed at children aged 4 and over. Having introduced my 4 year old to 'Rumble and Bumble' he was very excited to get stuck in. He enjoyed setting up the pieces of the toy and creating different story scenarios for his characters. 'Rumble' has a magnetic nose and pulls along 'Bumble', whilst making a cute noise. Although my 4 year old was easily able to press the functions on 'Rumble' , his understanding and the concept of coding was lost on him. However my six year old loved the coding aspect and has spent many evenings setting up paths for 'Rumble' to follow. A book is also included, which helps give simple instructions to first time coders. Although be aware of younger members getting hold of it as it is easily ripped ! To summarise this toy is a great introduction to coding, covering many aspects of the curriculum in a fun way.

It is very captivating especially for younger kids. The only thing I would recommend would be instructions.

Such a fantastic set perfect mix of learning and Fun colourful and bright, easy to use My little one is 3 and she picked up how to use the critters quickly and absolutely loves that they can also be in pet mode!

This is a cute way of introducing coding! My son enjoyed setting up different ways Rumble can get to Bumble. He was so creative with the different paths and learned pretty quickly how to use the product (and code). I would definitely recommend this to preschoolers to be introduced to the concept of coding!
