like you see in từ e picture, this fruit is called blueberry but they painted it in purple color. I would not recommend parent buy these toys for naby to play.

Kids love it, fruit is about 1/4- 1/2 size of real size depending on what it is, perfect for small hands, my kids have been cooking it and I've been pretend eating it since it was opened 2 weeks ago! Love it!

Finally: durable plastic food that actually approximates the fruit/veggies they're meant to look like. Expensive but excellent quality. Sure to last through many preschool speech and language therapy sessions.

Bought this item for my grand daughters birthday because she loves going to the farmers market with Mommy. Now she has her own tote with fruit & veggies. She loves to play with her pots & pans to "cook" ( pretend) her farmer market food . Great item for a child with a wonderful imagination .

We decided to open this box a little early for my son who is 9 months old. At our local library time, they will bring out fruits and vegetables to introduce kids to pretend play. My son loved the felt version at our library so I thought I would get use this for him now. He's been playing with it for a few weeks and loves it! At first, there was a strong plastic smell, so I thoroughly hand-washed everything laid it out to dry in the sun for a few hours. Note: some products have holes so be weary of submerging the toys in water. These are the best fruit and veggie toys I have found on the market! He plays with them every day now. He gravitates towards the strawberry, banana, and apricot - maybe because he eats these on a regular basis? I have to give this 3 stars however because the green paint on the corn started to peel. I was a little disappointed about that.

These are truly the BEST play food ever!!!! This is my 3rd child and we had the cheap plastic food for the other two that it seemed like we were throwing away an item every time we played with it. This is well designed, durable and looks like REAL food!!!!!

I saved a lot of fisher price playfood from the early 80's. This line of food is the only comparable one I could find for our granddaughter. She loves it and played with it almost exclusively after Christmas!

I have just discovered the new sprouts line of play food and I absolutely love them! The food are realistic looking yet fit in my daughters hands well (shes 19mos old) theyre a little bit rubbery so if she chews on them not a big deal and theyre durable. I was so excited when I got this for her for Christmas I gave it to her right away and then ordered other sets to actually give her on Christmas. At first the bag struck me as small because when I'd ordered it online I thought it would be bigger until I saw it with my daughter and its her perfect size. super pleased I would recommend these toys to everyone shopping for play food!

I love the colors and details. They certainly look like real fruits and veggies. I love the textures as well. I have no complaints.

I bought this product for my daughter's daycare class. They are durable and fun and the bag is a great way for them to carry the fruit and veggies. They also like putting things in the bag.

I love the New Sprouts line of food. I can't say enough about this play food. It is perfect for little toddler hands and preschool hands. It is also durable and not like the cheap food you find. I don't have to worry about the play food cracking or breaking if stepped on. This set is so cute. I love the little tote. We play grocery store and set up a little store. My little boy puts what he wants in the bag and takes it back to the play kitchen. I love that he can take what we do in real life and use his imagination at home.

I received this to review from LR and absolutely LOVE the Sprouts play foods! This is very durable and realistic for kids to play with. I love that it comes with a wide variety of fruits/veggies that you might normally find in play food like apricots! And if you accidentally get hit by flying play food this stuff hurts WAY less than wood food! Just saying! Overall - definitely a great product and the only type of play food I would buy.

I bought this product to accompany a play kitchen we purchased for our 20-month girl and 4-year-old boy. There is nothing I dislike about it. The little tote is a cute print, and well made. All the fruit and veggie pieces are easy to identify, the colors are gorgeous, a great size (although the lettuce could be a tad bigger, for scale's sake) for little hands to hold and the material is fantastic, just as described, a soft rubbery plastic. They are sturdy enough to stand up to my kids' less-than-delicate pretend play, and I see a lot of it coming! Greatly recommend!

Each piece of food is made of a durable plastic material, so these will last through a lot of rough and tough boy play!! They all look like real fruit and veggies too. If you have a young tot who enjoys play cooking, this is a great toy for them!!

The pieces are brightly colored and well made as all the New Sprouts products we own. They are easy to clean by hand with soap and water without worry of mildew or mold. I like that while these are small enough for Kenzie's hands, they are still large enough for Mason to not choke when he chews on them. Miss Kenzie loves to tote around her fruits and veggies as well as place them in her wooden shopping cart to go grocery shopping. She is the cutest ever when she pushes her cart into the "store" (her playhouse) and then checks out with her goods.

My daughters eyes lit up when I opened the Fruit & Veggie Tote. The colors were so bright and she started yelling bapple bapple (her way of saying apple). The stitching on the tote looked great and has taken her abuse well. I absolutely LOVE the feel and texture of the fruits and vegetables. I have seen quite a few sets sold at the store and haven picked them up because you can just tell that the pieces are very cheaply made. Not with the fruit and veggie tote!! The pieces are very well made and they just feel great when holding them in your hand. We have had tons of fun with it already and I cannot wait until summertime when we can play garden!
