Learning Resources Magnetic Collaboration Boards, 4 Pieces, Grades K+, Ages 5+

Great for group work. Highly recommend.

I received this as part of a review program through Learning Resources. I try to offer critical feedback. With that said, this pack of boards has so many uses. My little one uses it to draw all the time. On the other hand, my neighbor and i have started modeling games that are related to pictionary with our 2 1/2 year olds. It's a great way to start getting these little ones to understand the concept of a game, with turns, and rules, etc. The holes are great for if you have those 3M hooks around the room for interactive stations. Probably the only critique is not have an attachment for dry erase markers.

This product is ideal for home/office and/or classroom communication. I have one at the office for posting "away from my desk", one for home - "honey do" list and grocery needs and gave one to my daughter to use in the Nurse's station at the hospital. It's great that you can stick on a metal cabinet or hang it with nails or our Super Strong Hooks LER2694.

I received this item as an incentive program. The kiddos loved drawing and writing words. Very sturdy, but there is only a magnetic strip on back. thought the whole board was magnetic.

I received this set through an incentivized review program. The white boards are easy to use, no instructions needed. Would like better sturdy magnets that will stay on or have something in the back to hang them. Like the different colors to assign group work.

I loved using these collaborative boards in my high school classroom. They would also work well in a middle or elementary setting. I currently have a set of four boards (that's how many come in the set), but I could see how having eight would be very beneficial--especially with larger classes. I used these when students were in separate groups collaborating and sharing responses with the whole class. First, they discussed in their groups and put highlights from their conversations on the boards, and then, when they were ready to share their ideas, a spokesperson came to the board to share their ideas. When students are finished writing, they can put their magnetic board up on the classroom whiteboard. This is also a good way to gauge whether or not groups are done. A great benefit to using these boards is that the students' thoughts are up on the board right away as soon as they are done thinking. (The teacher doesn't have to wait for them to finish thinking and THEN come write up at the board). This helps with classroom flow and ease of transitioning. I did mention that I wish the magnets were stronger, but they haven't fallen at all. I would highly recommend this product. I received this set through an incentivized review program.

I love the size of the dry erase board. I was thinking that the board was magnetic but overall it is a great addition to my supplies

I use these boards to display each of my daily objectives. I love the idea of having them color coded, my students are able to identify the subject with each color. I can easily remove an objective and/ or display an objective without having to write it during class time.

I received this product as part of an incentivized review program. As an elementary school special education teacher, I work with fourth and fifth grade students typically in small groups. I have used many brands and styles of write and wipe surface boards over 20+ years of teaching. These boards are lightweight and thin which is nice for storing flat. The size is great, as compared to many boards which are too small for completing more complex math problems or recording information for student group presentations. I have found the magnets to hold well, such that the boards do not slide as you write on a vertical surface. As with most boards, they erase best if markings are not left on for long periods of time. Note: The surface itself is not magnetic.

The boards are nice and big to use in a classroom or a small group.

The toy was packeaged well, allowed for me to easily see what the product looked like. There was no need for instruction, the whiteboards were self-explanatory. They seemed study. However, the only downfall was that some of the magnets did fall off. I used hot glue to reattach and they have been fine now! Student enjoyed the white boards and found them to be much easier to use due to their extremely lightweight. I would recommend these boards for anyone who needs a magnetic board! I received this product as part of an incentivized review program. These whiteboards are larger than typical whiteboards for students. The students and I really liked that they were magnetic. I used this product with small groups and as a whole group. Students enjoyed combining the boards to see all the examples that they came up with as a whole group. I liked that they were different colors too. It helped with identifying which group had that specific board.

I revieved this as part of an incentivised review program. I think these dry erase boards are great for small group and individual work. I use them in my classroom when I divide students into groups and need them to work on finding answers or drawing examples to my questions. This product would also be good for homeschool or tutoring as well, it is good for students to show thier work on. My only criticism of this product is that I wish that the magnet was stronger and that the glue holding the magnet was also stronger. My classroom gets overheated often and I think that it weakedned the advesive.
