Inspired by the award-winning Spike the Fine Motor Hedgehog, this innovative toddler learning toy pairs the classic shape sorter with sensory-friendly fidget play. Kids can drop the five soft shape pieces (including a yellow star, green square, purple triangle, pink heart, and orange circle) into their corresponding holes, or fidget with their flexible silicone popper material. Sized for little hands, each shape fidget popper also helps kids build the coordination, hand strength, and other fine motor skills needed for school success. I sent an email about this product but have not heard back. The toy is missing the star part and has 2 circles. I gave it for Christmas, but had to keep it in order to fix this problem. Please help!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved this product to test for free in exchange for an honest review. My 2 year old absolutely loved this product! She really enjoyed that the shapes were fidget popper toys. They kept her interest way longer than the original hard plastic shape sorter toys. Also since they were that softer material they went into the wrong holes when forced, which also helped keep her interest because she tends to get very frustrated with the harder plastic shapes when they do not fit. The only trouble she had was getting the little hedge hogs back to go back on, which is not at all hard! This is an absolute great product that I would buy and recommend to family and friends!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes for this toy and it's not bad it just needs some improvements. It is sturdy and engages young minds with problem solving. I think the back needs a hinge as it is a little hard to get it back on, also fitting all the pieces inside is difficult. I'm not a fan of the material the shapes are made of as many kids have a tendency to bite into things like this. It is cute though and has a adorable face.

Overall this toy is perfect for a young toddler learning about shapes and how things fit into spaces. The shapes are soft silicone material which is perfect for little hands and gentle on parents feet if stepped on!!! There are 6 shapes with it, I do wish that maybe it was a little bigger so there a few more shapes included. The hedgehog is adorable and very kid friendly. I would purchase this product if I wasn't given it for free.

He has tried many different shape sorters in the past, but this one differs because the shapes are made of a soft bendable material which challenges him to really figure out which one goes where. Love the bright collars as well, we always recite the colors of each shape as we play.
