Thumbs down graphic, would not recommend

Purchased after seeing what must have been an older version that was slightly bigger with more feathers. This version’s quality is awful in comparison. Toy is small, there’s only 5 feathers vs 10. Everything seems cheaper and poorly made. The feathers barely stay in. Still cute and at least I didn’t pay full price. Definitely disappointed in the quality though

Cute little peacock, but the “feathers” are too loose to stay in the toy so the purpose of toy to teach kids fine motor skills is lost. They just fall out without sticking inside, so my child just plays with the bird at this point. Do not recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this is a great toy for toddlers. Each feather is a different texture and number, great sensory and learning tool for counting. It's very colorful and appealing to the eye. It is hard plastic so would not recommend for a teething child who likes to put things in their mouth. My daughter is 27 months and although it did not hold her interest for a long time I am looking forward to having my son play with it when he is old enough.
Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter really likes this little toy. She always makes a beeline to it on her toy shelf. She likes the blue "feather" the most. She always pulls that one out first and walks around with it. She likes pulling the feathers out and trying to put them back in. She likes the different colors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always wanted to adopt the 'Montessori at Home' parenting style. The idea of simple, thought-provoking activities really attracts me and Pedro is just that. My son is entertained and no tablet or tv required! We are currently practicing textures and placement. I love this toy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 18 month old really enjoyed this toy. (To the extent of wanting it in his crib at night). I like the fact that it is an engaging toy that doesn't require batteries or technology. It really helps work those fine motor skills!! My only con is that the plastic is cheaper than I expected it to feel. By no means is it weak, it has held up beautifully. I just was surprised how lightweight and cheap it felt.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is very basic. I have 3 boys that are 1, 3, and 5 years old; this toy didn't hold the attention of any of them. I personally would not buy this toy. It's just too boring and basic for our needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a cute toy for toddlers to play with and learn colors and numbers. The bright colors are perfect for holding attention and also locating the feathers around the house when they are thrown around. I do wish the numbers were either bigger or called out with an ink to make them be seen better. Holds their attention for a decent amount of time.
Mostly fun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 2 year old played with this for only a short period of time. It was definitely smaller than I would have thought. I think if there were a few different activities on Pedro it would be more fun and attention grabbing. The pieces are small, and I'm not sure if a smaller child would have fun with this or not.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both of our boys, aged 8 months and 4 years, have enjoyed playing with this toy. The youngest likes to pull the "feathers" out and chew on them, while our oldest likes to rearrange the feathers and say the colors of them in Spanish. The quality of this product is a bit less than what I would like, and I do not believe it will stand the test of time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received pedro the fine motor peacock I was a little underwhelmed. He was smaller than I was expecting, we also have the porcupine and hes quite a bit bigger. I do like that the peacock feathers are very bright and colorful and they each have their own unique shape. I do not like that the number printed on each on is 1) extremely difficult to see 2) only printed on one side. So you can understand the demographic my son falls in I will tell you he is 28 months old, non verbal, is autistic, and is not typically developing. He likes to carry around small items or toys that fit pretty much in the palm of his hand. Lucky for him, that's the exact size of Pedro's peacock feathers! I knew we had a winner. I showed him each feather amd helped him take them in and out. I'll be honest- he hasn't touched Pedro's actual body once. He just has 0 interest in it, But I cannot for the life of me get him to put down the peacock feathers!! They go everywhere with us- meals, shopping, baths, bed, etc... hahaha. He uses them a "crayons" and "scribbles" everywhere with them. So no, he doesnt use them as intended, but he is 100% developing fine motor skills while using them his way. Isn't the the whole point of Pedro the FINE MOTOR Peacock! All in all, I like this toy for my son, but I beleive that typically and non typically developing children will not stay interested for long; it's too simple.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is a wonderful and fun tool for helping early learners develop fine motor skills! Fine motor skills are integral for pre-writing development and strengthening their fingers. I love that the feathers have the numbers 1-5 on them, not only did we discuss colors when placing the feathers on the peacock, but we also got to discuss numbers as well! We worked on placing the feathers on many different ways and the students never got tired of the activity. The peacock is now in with our table tray activities and is still used daily. The product had held up extremely well with daily use and is perfect for an early childhood child. Another hit by Learning Resources!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son was instantly drawn to playing with this toy but it did not hold his attention for very long. Without an adult constantly asking questions or challenging, he was quickly bored. However, with adult engagement, it is a quality learning toy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves this peacock but the pieces don't all fit into the body well which makes it frustrating for him. The plastic appears to not been cut well so they don't fit in easily. Despite this my son loves the toy and with some practice he has figured out how to get them in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received Pedro the fine motor peacock and it was immediately a hit! My 2 year old pulled it out of the box and said, "wow!" She has been playing with it almost non-stop. I love the different games we can play with it. We do counting games, color games, and texture games. She loves to line up the feathers and count them, tell me the color and how bumpy they feel and then put them in Pedro's back in different orders. Then when his back is full, she walks him around and squawks. I love that it is challenging her mind and also giving her some fun free play. It feels like it's made of durable thick material, so it has held up well to all of her play. It even took a couple dives out of the stroller and survived without a bump! Definitely her new favorite toy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really expected more from this. More of a turkey lol, but in all honesty, all my kid wanted to do is chew on the feathers.
