This set has a nice balance between universal pieces, and fun specialised pieces (like the skateboard). The figures are a great mixture -- especially liked the one with the cochlear implant, a nice touch! The recipient is a beginner builder and needed a little help with some elements, but was soon dismantling and rearranging bricks to his liking -- always the sign of a good set. Very happy with this purchase.

This duplo lego set has provided hours of fun for the littlies, has helped refine shapes and colours and is building fine motor skills. The littlies thoroughly enjoy the moving pieces and pulling apart the instructional build to make their own. Not only is this toy fabulously entertaining, it is educational as well. The kids can make their own designs and use their imaginations as they explore their builds with the various included people and animal characters.

There was many different parts which made it very entertaining to play with. My 1.5 year old to be expected just wanted to pull it all apart.

Love that the 3 scenarios are very different and create different environments for the kids imagination to freely flow. For my early 3yo, it was a little tricky to keep him focused to build the whole treehouse because he was so involved with just wanting to play, eat, skate, slide and swing with all the bits. But once created, it keep him busy for at least an hour and he has been playing with it everyday since. Super easy to put together. Beautiful colours without being too out there. Love that it is relatable to everyday play. My son is stoked!

The pieces are a great size, small enough for little hands to easily grasp and manouver while not being too small that they might easily eat them. My son really enjoyed the little animals and the bright colourful flowers. It has been a wonderful bonding family experience to build and play with this together . For us parents who enjoyed playing with lego as children, it was great to watch our son now enjoy playing with duplo. There are so many great scenarios for play with all the characters and props and different ways to build and interact with this set that it kept us entertained for ages.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tree House playset was a fun and engaging activity for our 2 and 4 year old children. They loved all of the figures and accessories that came with it, and they both kept going back to play with it while we had it set up. While there were lots of small pieces, none of them were choking hazards which was a plus. Our 2 year old valiantly tried to build, but our 4 year old had better luck following the instructions. Mr 2 loved using the basket pulley system, and Ms 4 did lots of imaginative play. The only negative feedback would be that the slide was impossible for both of the kids to put together, and kept coming apart no matter how gently it was played with. It will definitely be an often played with set in our household.

It was a lot of fun going through the instructions together and building the treehouse step by step. Unfortunately for us we were missing 1 piece which made my son a bit frustrated, but we still managed to create something similar to the instructions. The pieces of Lego were a really great size for smaller hands and the instructions were pretty straightforward. My son actually ended up playing with this set all day for about 3 days in a row, so he was definitely engaged with it. I would recommend this set to anyone interested in purchasing lego for their younger children.

She loved following the instructions and trying to set it up like the box but she equally loved exploring it with her other duplos and creating a lego world of fun and play! It was larger than expected and really easy to put together there wasn't too many moments where I had to help clip the blocks together but they held up equally well - the windows are probably the hardest to click in. I love that it will grow with us and be a hit for many more years to come. Great quality product again as always with lego! Love it.

My son kept wanting to deviate from the instructions as he was enjoying new pieces and making his own ‘tree house’. Eventually we created it together, with mostly me doing the work but he was very excited with the finished product. All in all, this product trial was a lot of fun and a really great way to interact with and spend time my son.

For his age he wasn't as interested in building from the instructions, but had lots of fun with the animals as well as the hook he could wind up and down to pick up different pieces as we were building. the moving swing is also a good interactive piece. overall a lovely lego set with something for a range of age groups.

The playset could be built into three different treehouse designs with the instruction booklet although my kids also liked to create their own builds and change things up. The set comes with heaps of characters and pet / animal figurines so there’s enough for everyone to play with - it also comes with a range of accessories such as a wheelbarrow, campfire and picnic rug. This playset encourages creative play and I would recommend to my friends and family.

The playset is really beautiful , the colours used are very sweet , the amount of pieces in the set was quite overwhelming .. . Seriously though, definitely generous for the price. Okay so , my son loved the playset , and it's been at the centre of his play for a few weeks now. I was able to help him complete the tree house and its definitely gorgeous. I do have one criticism though... the instruction booklet needs to be completely redone. Personally I found it confusing and really quite useless. Toddlers will understand pictures more than words I guess , but i highly doubt they are the ones that will be setting it up per the instructions.. the booklet doesn't show any clear steps to follow.. Just pages and pages of duplo blocks in different ways .. I also think having bags numbered and opened in stages should have been an obvious inclusion.
