Description
Little ones can embark on a railway adventure with the LEGO DUPLO Big Interactive Community Train (10428) building set for boys and girls ages 2 and up. This train set for toddlers is packed with fun features and functions, including 4 diverse figures, 5 action bricks and detailed accessories for hours of interactive play. Children can load the train with cargo, charge the engine, or wash the carriages. Each activity is brought to life with lights and sounds as the toy train passes over one of the action bricks. Toddlers will also set out on a learning journey, starting at the toy train station. Preschoolers are encouraged to use creative thinking to plot a route for the Push&Go passenger train toy, using problem-solving skills on tasks as they move ahead. He also feels so proud of himself when he was able to build the whole thing all by himself, thanks to the easy-to-follow instructions. This train set kept him occupied for hours, and he kept coming back to it every day, sometimes changing things up with the tracks and putting the action bricks in different places. The most fascinating thing was how you could also control the train using the Duplo train app!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you so much to Influenster and Lego for sending the Lego Big Interactive Community Train to my family to play with. From the moment the train set has arrived my son has been super excited, the bright colours and the fact that it had a train wash made his day!! The train set is recommended for ages 3 plus and my son, who is 4 years old, followed the instructions and enjoyed putting it together with very little help. The sound bars that go on the track are amazing, they play sweet music and sounds, and the train itself is really quite fast with flashing lights!! It came with four people and a cat and they all sit very easily in the train and carriages and it also has four train track add ons: a train wash, wind turbine fuel stop, a cafe and a brick dropper, that drops bricks into the train. My son has played with it non stop since it’s arrived and has easily rearranged the layout and added other Duplo/Lego items to it that he already had. I love the way his imagination runs wild and he can confidently build and have fun whilst doing so. The manual that came with the train set is great, very easily laid out and the images are big and clear which is good for little ones.
