I grew up watching ghostbusters and this Ecto-1 vehicle set was an amazing set to build and play. It is currently on my display and I always take a glance at it whenever I pass by. Looking at this set always gives me that childish smile.

Great fun build. The only thing i thatught could be better is the instruction manuel. Somtimes struggled to find where to place bricks as no arrows to show where they go just a faint green surrounding around the area.

This product is not fit for purpose. Having built this twice from the ground up to be sure, the axle / wheels simply collapsed under the weight of the car and fall off. I won't even mention the other flimsy parts of body work that falls off. Utter waste of time

I really like this set. Like any Lego set the attention to detail is second to none and the build is enjoyable - you may also be surprised how big the model is too! I’ve have had to stop my build as I’m missing a piece but that’s kinda good in a way as it slows me down and I can look forward to completing the last couple of bags in a week or twos time. However, I am slightly disappointed with on piece. The centre tile of the bonnet (hood) is a matt finish when the surrounding tiles have a sheen. There is also an injection mark right in the centre of the tile too. Given its front and centre of the model it’s rather frustrating. Hopefully it’s an error and the piece will be replaced. Don’t let that put you off buying this set though! You won’t regret it!!

The set is extremely flimsy and do not recommend that anyone includes this set in their collection. Instructions are difficult to read and the precision of the product is lacking.

I had to start again as I made an error early on and it started a downward spiral while attempting to put it right, very intricate and precise. Lots of pieces detached along the way. All worth it in the end as the attention to detail is awesome. Ghostbusters :)

Throughly enjoyed this build, the item is a classic and perfect for my husbands ‘man cave’. Also pleased to read that Lego are moving to plastic packaging, that is a very positive move.

I’ve been waiting a long time to get this set and I finally got it. It was a good price When I got it, the packaging was good. There were couple of dings but nothing too serious, but overall love the set and so excited to build it.

I believe this is worth it. For the amount of money you're spending on this thing it has lots of details and has lots of gadgets too. I also got to learn some different ways on how to build so that was very awesome

I was thoroughly surprised at the size which made building it all the more fun. I also enjoyed all the little details and nods to the movie/movies that it comes from. I definitely would recommend this to other Ghostbusters fan who also love LEGO!!

This is a must for any Ghostbusters Fan, Details are amazing. Build takes some time but end Product is amazing, Some very cool features like the chair that pops out, antenna on top spins along with binoculars and the little car pops out from bottom when you pull on lever. A word of caution even thought they are 12 bags - most bags are doubled- Not sure why they would not label it like 5A and 5B or something like that.
This set was perfect for me in every way.

As a set, this one was perfect for me. Its detailing makes the set. The instructions are extremely detailed as we're asked to make a number of fiddly bits but they took me through them easily and without issue. Love the look too. My only regret was that 'rust' stickers weren't (more expensive) printed blocks. I know that would have forced the price up - but IMO would have been worth the extra few dollars. P.S When are we getting a larger X-Wing or TIE fighter!??! I'm sure you could come up with something in the 6k-8k piece range :)

From the moment I opened the box, quality oozed out! The packages of parts rattled to be freed and once various stages were completed, the parts became silent and firm, holding eachother together. Then as more stages were completed, the model became more sturdier still. A totally Awsome model to create after my Libby statue and Angel of the North models as well.

Picked this up as a fan from the cartoon series and movies when 4 years old. Great build with some really interesting ideas to create the shapes needed for this come together (grill, Cadillac back end, etc). So much attention to detail and lot of movement when the car "rolls" which brings it to life. What a great pick up for any Lego enthusiast that likes a challenging build and showcases their builds. Highly recommend!
