LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle Toy 71043

In total I had 2 missing pieces and a missing sticker sheet and has to pause my building twice for 10 days totalling 20 days. Very disappointed as there need to be better quality control

This Lego set was really fun to build and the micro figures are pretty cool. Over all the set was an amazing LEGO. I highly recommend.

I recieved this as a gift for christmas after wanting for ages and it doesn't disappoint. I found it a wonderfully detailed set, especially things like the 'stained glass windows', taking bits from many of the different films. It was a fun experience to build and well worth it for any Harry Potter fan.

I started the Hogwarts castle and so far I’m loving it. I did have some difficulty putting the tower together because the pieces wouldn’t line up. But I’m up for the challenge to get it right and I love this set and anything Harry Potter ❤️🧙🏻🪄.

This product was bought for me for Christmas. Each bag opened contained many pieces that added the most smallest of details found throughout the story of Harry Potter. The set is quite large so be sure to have somewhere to put it. There were a two small pieces missing from one bag but I was able to find them within our Lego collection. This set took over 35 hours to complete and has not disappointed.

I received this Lego set as an early Christmas gift, this year, from my fiancé. I am a huge Lego fan, and a proud Hufflepuff. The building experience was absolutely amazing(being used with the Star Wars Lego franchise) and really enjoyed to built this magical castle. Loved all the Easter eggs, and all the nooks and crannies you can find in this wonderful set. A bit disappointed that they were no prints on the blocks and all just stickers, but judging this set was released in 2018, made me realise why Lego did that(the stickers were absolutely stunning). I did not mind the micro figures at all, as they are helping creating the bigger picture. It really felt magical to build it.

Took me 3 weeks of evenings to complete alone. Some points made me wa to to give up but once together glad I didn’t and looks great in my front room.

This lego set rocks. I am a big Harry Potter fan and I love everything about the set. Getting rid of the only negative is really the price is quite high, but this is expected with Lego being a high price hobby, but the amount of pieces and size of the overall set make up for this in my opinion. The play features are non existent, but that is expected. You are buying this set to display something amazing and this set more than delivers. There are so many little references and little key aspects that I just love. The little rocks that it sits on, the bridges that intertwine everything, the rotating staircases and you get exclusive minifgures with the houses founders and a ton of microfigures to enhance the scenes even more. This set rules and is proudly displayed in my collection in it's on thrown. Even if you are not the biggest Harry Potter fan, it still is a pretty dope castle. I can not recommend this set enough, and I ensure you that you will like it.

Love the build and the theme. The only issue I have is that the directions don’t highlight which pieces are placed where that step, so it’s kind of like a “where’s Waldo” to find where to place the pieces. We did another set before this and each piece placed for that step had a green outline which helped immensely. Maybe they could add that to this? Then it would be a 5 star. Either way, I’d recommend! Just pay closer attention.

I go back and forth with this set. Pro’s: This is a beautiful set to add to your Harry Potter collection. This set does fit all the rooms you would recognize from the books/movies. Con: for me because everything is so extra miniature it was almost boring, a red square represented a tiny book. Not as excited or enjoyable as I hoped. Because everything and everyone is so extra small it’s in a weird way less detail. This set is massive though so you have to make everything so small to fit all the details together. The only super mini figures I can figure out in Voldemort, Lupen, and Ms. Umbridge. Overall I like the finished product and excited to add the castle to my Harry Potter collection

Amazing when completed, so big I had trouble to find a place to display it (I have a fairly small room tho, so don’t let that put you off buying it).

This set was amazing and I really enjoyed building it. Would recommend to a fellow builder.

Disappointed that it is missing a piece and we’re having to wait for the piece to arrive in the mail. This is upsetting for the amount of money we spent for this kit.

It looks really nice but most of it is 1x1 bricks or tiles. It really takes away from the enjoyment of the build. The instructions are often unclear and you have to search the image for the added 1x1 bricks/tiles that were added in the sea of the other 1x1s. In the end it looks great and serves the purpose I want it for. I removed 1 star because of the less fun build, unclear instructions and my fingertips literally hurt.

Really surprised that the building instructions do not have the parts highlited as to where they will go. so much time looking and correcting mistakes.

Frontside is very nice. The great hall looks great from both sides. There are some very nice details and gadgets in it. The instructions are clear. The set was complete. But, some lesser things. Some of the rooms are not filled with nice details but just some blocks which represents nothing recognizable. And some of the rooms could be a little bigger to give more depth. The small bridge makes no sense, goes from nowhere to nowhere. The big bridge does not align well, I checked multiple times, it is a design mistake. It makes a small angle for which special pieces are used. Hagrids hut, where is Hagrid? And not so nice. Stickers used are very nice, I hope they stick for lifetime. All in all it has a beautifull front side, nice to build, some nive details but also some missers.

Highly recommend this set! This is the first big set I have built and it did not disappoint. As a huge Harry Potter fan this set incorporates so many key scenes from the films. Instructions were extremely easy to follow and the end result looks super cool! I was on the fence about purchasing this set for a while due to the price but I am so glad I did I feel it was worth the cost. Can’t wait to add on to my new Harry Potter set!!

I LOVE this set, for the price you really cant beat it - very fun build that took my wife myself and son just under 19 hours to finish! If you love harry potter and have the room for this beast id 100% recommend

As my partners and I first big build project, we each took turns for the bags. Multiday building, close attention is needed for the brick colors on the bottom land, the olive and gray can be similar. Instruction book has some arrows for brick placement but comparing the intended picture and where you were before are needed.

This set is beyond amazing. I’m an avid LEGO collector and builder and love these bigger sets specifically. This has been by far my most favorite build, and that’s including Rivendell and a few other popular sets. I wish I can forget I built the thing so I could experience it again for the first time. Such a beautiful build with some amazing details! I would definitely recommend this to a more experienced builder or a family that likes to build together. Phenomenal set, and looks extra cool on the shelf!
