Enjoyed the Senna build but this one was better. Upgraded wider rears are a nice touch and was overlooked during the Senna design. Step in the right direction with the F1 models.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a Formula 1 fan and LEGO collector, I simply could not pass by the LEGO Williams Racing FW14B & Nigel Mansell set. This is not just a model - it is a real work of art. The detailing is impressive: working steering, wide tires with Goodyear logos, detailed engine. Everything is done with respect to the original. A special pleasure is the Nigel Mansell figure with a podium and helmet. A cool touch is a plate with a quote and a photo of the racer. The assembly took me a couple of evenings, I had a lot of fun. The set looks great on the shelf and causes admiration among guests. It is especially nice that LEGO continues to release high-quality collectible models for adults. If you are a fan of motorsports or just like to assemble cool things with your own hands - I recommend this set without a doubt. It is worth every dollar spent.

Unfortunately, it was made by LEGO. The build experience was boring, and whoever designed it might want to reconsider their career path. But hey, if you love overpriced sets and an excessive amount of stickers, this one’s perfect for you!

This model is fantastic to build.It builds into a great replica of one of the most famous racing cars ever. The mini Nigel Mansell compliments the car perfectly. A perfect companion to Sennas car.

LEGO have clearly been paying attention, learning from some of the less successful parts of the Mclaren 4/4, like the wheels being a poor representation of the real car. With the FW14B they have made great improvements on the details. The wheels, hydraulic lines and engine cover are to name but a few. The Mansell minifig is also a great addition and I hope that LEGO continue this line of Icons with a few more of these legendary machines and drivers.

Great the rear tyres are wider and more authentic, unfortunately the stickers are not authentic so now I will have to buy a authentic sticker set from a third party supplier to make the model authentic as I did with the Senna McLaren.

There's some improvements here as compared to the McLaren MP4/4 F1 car. Primarily, the tires are better looking. Still, I'll be modding mine with aftermarket wheels, tires, and decals if they become available. But as is, this is a cool set for those that are F1 fans.
