LEGO Super Heroes Marvel Gargantos Showdown​ 76205 Building Set

It pays perfect homage to the film and the build was very enjoyable. I suggest pairing it with your Lego Expert Town Square to reenact the scene from the movie. Gargatos fits perfectly between the two buildings.

The gargontos build is really well done and it comes with an awesome dr strange mini figure. This set will go great with the sanctorum.

It's great to display and very fun to play with and the minifigs are super cool

This is essentially a character park for the first part of Doctor Strange 2, and in that regard it is great, would've been nice to get some terrain/scenery (maybe even a portal for America) but I understand this would've bumped up the price. For what it is it's a really cool set

This set is actually amazing. The monster is a great size (a lot bigger than it may appear) makes a nice addition to any collection. Dr. Strange figure is awesome!

The figures are awesome and the monster is great except for that little illegal building thing.

Confession: I am not a Marvel Universe fan and know nothing about these characters. My dad is a big fan of the original Doctor Strange comic books, and he was more than happy to take possession of the mini figs. I got this set because I love the look of the monster. It reminds me of the Crawling Eye from the Trollenburg Terror movie of the late 1950’s, and that’s why I purchased it. That said, it makes an awesome addition to my Haunted House Ride set! The posable tentacles allows is to grab the roof securely without interfering with the mechanism. I imagine it would be fun to place it climbing up things around the house, too. A very interesting build with some creative techniques. I also love the little Dr Strange mini fig progressing across the bottom of the instruction booklet; nice touch, Lego! I may have to watch this movie.

Spoilers - Love these figures, America has amazing torso printing, but her hair could’ve been better but this is a pretty good hair, don’t think lego would go out of their way to mold hair for her, doctor strange is also good but personally I’m not sure if I like the cloak, I think it’s too bright & I just prefer the cloth piece instead of this rubber, but it is a cool piece. Wong is also a pretty good character, but in the movie he has more yellow on him & the yellow is very faint here, also they never have the perfect hair for him & he always looks young here, his infinity war figure had a great head print but hope we get better Wongs, if we get more. Gargantos is a well built figure, I like the tentacles but they lack some movement, they can move but not too far. He has 16 here but unfortunately half are the legs which he stands on & the other 4 are his mouth, which barely can be moved at all, you can only see 6 big ones, 2 short ones are in the back but I feel like it could’ve been better, if really feels like I only get half the tentacles here. His eye is yellow instead of white unfortunately, and they use dark green instead of olive which also bugs me, but I love the various olive green parts used to make him look well rounded (literally). Amazing eyelashes, good set overall but wish Wong was better, would be good to get cloth & rubber cloaks, Gargantos himself is a good build but is repetitive & tentacles move only to a certain degree. It takes a while to arrange the tentacles the way I like it, it’s such a good build to display. Unfortunately he got killed off in the movie but I love that we got at least this set for the movie. This came out months before the movie release & I finally got it a few days ago but after I seen the movie I built it, the Scarlet Witch in the minifigure series is also great to include if you have her, wish she got an update for her appearance in this movie, especially her tiara, it’s just flat and printed on instead of being dual molded with actual red lego, it’s just nougat hair with a flat color of red slapped on, it’s basically like her Halloween outfit tiara but in a darker color.

Each of the figurines has a lot of personality--as does the monster! I was worried this would be tricky to assemble but that wasn't the case at all. The tangle of tentacles still support the monster easily, the figures can "stand" on the tips of them, and the arms are flexible without breaking off (it's easy to play with). Plus, America comes with a little LGBTQ+ pride disc to hold, which I thought was a neat detail. This set does a lot more than just sit on a shelf, though it is quite eye-catching.

such a cool set! it was so fun to build, cant lie it took me a while to build it cuz i’m not the smartest builder, but it was so much fun and you can move the arms in so many different position and can put america wong and strange on the arms which looks so cool

All the figures in this set are really good, Doctor Strange is my favorite from this set, although I think Wong looks a but young I would almost mistake him for a differant charactor looking at his face. Gargantos himself is a really cool build with a fun design, with his many ball joint Tenticles and his big transparent colored eye that is visually striking.

Excellent set easy to make and very posable. Great minifigures (especially America Chavez!).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally got this because I thought it would be a good bonding project with my nieces and nephew but it turns out that I love it more than they do lol. The characters are really well made and it was lots of fun to put together too! This one’s going on my desk at work!

This set is good. It could use some more details. It would be nice to have some more mini-figures because there are many tentacles. There is one part that made me really surprised. Now the mini-legs can move. (My 6-year old grandson dictated this review to me)

I like that it is an early preview of the new doctor strange movie and it is awesome that America Chavez was included.

I built this with my daughter. A really great set. Her and I both really liked the America Chavez character. We did get a bit confused on the instructions with all of the olive green. But we figured it out. Also, there are 2 parts around the eyes that do not connect correctly causing other parts to not connect correctly. The awesome minifigures make up for this design flaw.

Love the product, very well done,you guy need more marvel monsters.

Good set. Would reccommend to friends. a bit expensive but is stiil worth it. the dr strange minifig is really well done
