A: The response from LG Dgital Custmer Care (Cris) is highly unusual, and likely erroneous. Has LG started making TVs incompatible with HDMI connected streaming devices? I would suspect not ;-)

Excellent picture quality, upscales older content to an amazing new realism! Picture quality/colors degrade rapidly when your viewing position move off center. Best for small groups that can gather near the center. Don't expect to entertain larger groups spread across a wide viewing front. Smart features have many dependencies that may prevent some from working as advertised. Your results WILL VARY according to which you choose. Example: I purchased an LG SPM2 2.1 Channel Sound Bar with Built-In Subwoofer expecting seamless operation with the TV. Yet even when selected as the audio output on the TV menu, it is automaically DESELECTED by the TV when the set is turned off. I have to reconfigure the TV/soundbar combination every time I turn the set on. And that's with the "smarted" HDMI ARC connection active. Worse, the soundbar blocks the TV speakers substantially, so it HAS to be turned on for the TV sound to be clear. Read the user manual carefully before you buy one. LG's engineers need to speak to each other and coordinate these "advanced" features so the actually work in the real world, not just in LG's advertising!

Hi there! Thank you for sharing your experience with us regarding the LG 50QNED75URA TV. We understand that while you appreciate the excellent picture quality and upscaling capabilities, you've encountered issues with off-center viewing and soundbar connectivity. Your feedback is important, and we'd like to assist you further. You may access this link to check your unit's manual: https://www.lg.com/us/support/product/lg-50QNED75URA.AUS. For the viewing angle concerns, we recommend positioning the TV at eye level and ensuring that it is calibrated for optimal viewing. This can help improve color consistency and overall picture quality when viewed from different angles. Regarding the soundbar issue, please ensure that the HDMI ARC connection is set correctly in both the TV and soundbar settings. If the TV continues to deselect the soundbar as the audio output, consider checking for any firmware updates for both devices, as these updates can often resolve connectivity issues. Please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport, and our team will be more than happy to assist you with troubleshooting and ensuring that your devices work seamlessly together. We appreciate your patience and are committed to enhancing your experience with our products. —Mau

Bought my own TV for the first time ever. Replaced a 46” 4K flat screen and the difference is incredible. Brightness and sharpness are gorgeous. Smart remote is extremely easy to use and multi-functional. So so glad it has a mic on the remote. Loving my new tv so far.
