Our 8,000 BTU Through-the-Wall Air Conditioner is ideal for cooling small to medium size rooms up to 340 sq. ft. It has 3 cooling and fan speeds to customize your comfort. The 4-way air deflection allows you to direct the flow of air where it's needed most whether cooling, dehumidifying or just circulating air. Use the convenient 24 hour on/off timer and energy saver option to help save on energy costs. If there is a power outage, the auto restart feature will automatically turn your unit back on when power is restored. Other features include a remote control, trim kit, removable/washable filter and a check filter alert. (Wall sleeve sold separately)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It quickly cools room and runs quieter than a window unit. It is well built and the unit was very heavy. It saves space and don’t block the window. The installation was not as easy as a window unit. This unit also includes a remote.

This room air conditioner by far is something I enjoy now coming home. It keeps my very chill feeling like by home. It was easy to install on the window, and the remote controls are easy to use. Overall, I’d say this is the model I’d recommend to everyone! It’s great and efficient.

I bought this AC in June. It was a God send during the heat waves we had this summer. It worked well but I didn't like that it continuously turned on and shut off based on the temp. This might be me just learning the unit though.

Glad I bought this just before the heat wave hit! Did a bit of comparison shopping first and decided on this unit. It cools the bedroom nicely, and comes with a remote. Because I use the Energy Saver mode, there's a noticeable noise when kicking in, but otherwise it's quiet enough for a sound sleep. Also, I wish it had come with a grill in lieu of the soft mesh cover for the front, but otherwise I am pleased with my purchase.

I wasted my money. It’s so loud and rattles when compressor is on. It’s like having a helicopter in the bedroom. Completely unusable. I was sent a replacement on warranty and new unit had same issue. Too loud, can’t sleep with it on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the ac it did not work. they would not take it back. it took 3 days to talk to someone who finally refunded our money. they ask ridiculous questions while they were trying to figure out if it was broken. they asked is there more than one window in the room. what did that matter if the ac woud not turn on

This is a great value-fit perfectly but didn't work when I got it. It would turn on, then off after ten seconds. I got little help from tech support. Remembered a similar circumstance with a previous appliance. Since returning it was a 50 mile trip each way, I decided to take the cover off-sixteen screws but all the same size, I turned the fan on with the same result-turned off in ten seconds. I reached in to see if the fan blade was stuck on packing. Found the fan was stopped because the coolant piping went across the fan blade keeping it from spinning/ I manually bent the pipe 1/4" to free the fan blade and it spun freely. I then turned the ac on and it worked perfectly since-no long trip, no return! Works great now!

I purchased this in April didn’t fully use til May by June it wasn’t cooling so went through a few troubleshooting phases to no avail the air conditioner was blowing 79 degrees on a 60. They wanted to “fix” it by replacing parts therefore I would’ve paid full price for a refurbished machine. Give me my money back please!

I bought this on recommendation from a friend. I was surprised how quieter it was then the Friedrich I had (believe it). I would have given it 5 stars but the front grill does rattle making noise. I had to keep one side of grill detached and that stopped the rattle along with some sound deadening tape.I do wish it had another lower fan speed speed which would have made the unit noise level even lower,like 44 db or so.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed the unit a few months ago, but did not turn it on till a few weeks ago and it just blew warm air so I un plugged it and tried a few more time but never was able to get cold air so I called for service. That morning I plugged the unit in and it was blowing warm air, when the service guy got here it some how was blowing cooler air so he said he would document the call. Later that day it was back to blowing warm air. I will have to call in for service again.

I bought this unit online about a month ago and it has yet to work properly. It will not cool a room down. It blows hot air and never cools despite being placed on 60 degrees.
