This is literally the dumbest thing. The sponge part does not stay on when you try to scrub with it. It’s useless, don’t waste your money

Giving a 3/5 because the product just moves around dirt and grime. It does a great job at lifting grime from the surface, but definitely not enough to actually clean.

The mop head keeps falling off. I got so frustrated that it went in the dumpster in under 15 minutes. I would not use this thing if I was paid to.

I happen to love this mop. I like I can replace the sponge heads, my hands don't get fatigued or dirty, and no pricey/breakable bucket mechanisms needed. I don't find any mop is really ideal for many reasons (also they all seem to be made for people 5'4" or shorter??), but for me this is as close as I can get in usability and addordability. One defect is, you cannot use pressure on the sponge side on this mop as is. It tends to detach itself and just hang on the metal thing with too much pressure OR on certain tile floors for some reason (sealant?). So I came up with a little hack using a ball bungee from harbor freight. View pictures for how to attach. Now you can add some pressure when using sponge side and your mop head will not fall off BUT it can still squeeze! To extend life of sponge, use very little product, dry it out sponge side down after use in a warm but not hot area, And do not use bleach or harsh floor cleaners, just ph neutral like Zep/Bona.

The lever mechanism broke on first use and has defied many attempts to repair. Worse than useless.

Difficult to use! Sponge detaches, the wringing lever is hard to handle and the brush does not remove particles.

I use this as a first step to my mopping “protocol” mostly to get all the nasty stuff off before using my ocedar mop. Only complaints are you do gotta use your hands to ring our excess the water and the sponge and especially the brush get a lot of hair and other stuff that I wasn’t able to pick up with a broom
Faulty, sponge head keeps detaching

I picked this mop due to the “scrubby brush” part to clean my floors. Bonus is that part works great, and is safe to use on all floors including wood. Negatively, the entire mop head would come off every time I squeezed it to drain water, dip into the bucket, and constantly while I was mopping. It was aggravating and time consuming. Will be returning since it doesn’t function. Was very happy with the Mr Clean mop with scrub brush, however it can’t be used on wooden floors :(

When it works, it is a good mop for cleaning. I use it with a big bucket sold by target. But the issue is that the bottom part keeps detaching from the pole, after you squeeze or clean the botton part. I have to stop cleaning to attach it again, several times during mopping, which is kind of annoying.

Can anyone just make a decent sponge roller mop? Everything about this mop would be perfect except that the sponge constantly falls off. And yes, before anybody comments, I’m putting it on correctly. The sponge very easily slips onto the hook through an opening in the sponge and then you pull it in with the handle to lock it in place. Sounds perfect right? The problem is that after just a few strokes the sponge starts to lose the dampness & pulls right back off the hook. Unless you have perfectly smooth Carrera marble floors where this thing can simply glide with no resistance it is going to constantly fall off. I have hand scraped hardwoods. I did my foyer and hallway using it and had to stop probably 30 times to reattach the sponge. The whole point of buying them up like this is so that I don’t have to touch the sponge. I don’t want to keep rewetting it because I don’t want the floors to get too wet either. I tried holding the handle while I was mopping to keep it from pulling off, but that didn’t work. Not even sure my husband can use this piece of junk in the garage since our floors are epoxied & those have a little bit of texture. Bottom line…it’s cheap for a reason and unless you plan to use it and then throw it away, don’t waste your money.
