Q: Can you use these on laminate hardwood flooring?

A: I just had laminate flooring installed throughout my house and this is the product the contractor recommended.Along with "Reguvenate" liquid floor cleaner for wet mopping.

Laminate flooring is probably what you mean in this matter. Not trying to nitpick but, There is a big difference between the two types Wood Floors vs Laminate Floors Laminate is more of a manufactured blend that mimics some of the properties of wood flooring , and is designed to look lvery similar to wood. Laminates are a lower priced alternative manufactured to look like wood with a few features such as: pretreated to prevent fading or damage from UV rays Hardcwood flooring is your natural wood, bamboo etc. wood flooring vs laminate flooring are very different but both work well with Swifters Wood flooring is the real deal, Laminates are usually a lower priced option with some benefits (I.e. - UV protection, and is often scratch and dent resistant) Good luck with your new Floors

Q: How do you keep the Swiffer dry or wet cloth to stay on the Swiffer mop? I’ve had my Swiffer for a year or so, and the dry cloths & wet ones no longer hold securely in the holes intended to keep the pads in place.

A: Great question, Tess! If you haven't used all of the Wet cloths that were included in the Starter Kit, then we recommend storing them in one of our refill containers and closing the tub properly to keep the cloths moist.

Why don't they make something UNSCENTED!!! They cont to make the products more & more smelly & now people are asking for UNSCENTED products. Many years ago I bought your wet pads & had a wet jet with refills & loved them. Now the smell of all your products is almost obnoxious, sorry. I'm actually moving & just threw out my wet jet I've had sense you 1st made them. I loved it & kept it with the hopes you'd eventually go back to making normal smelling cleaning fluid not the horrible smelling stuff that you keep adding more smelling ones. Unfortunately I gave up. I still have my reg 1 you could buy smaller wet pads for & stick them in the 4 corners. Now I use cheap thin small microfiber towel & they fit in the 4 corner holes to hold it like your wet clothes did. Bummer, a lot of ppl are developing allergies to these smells.

I have a love-hate with these. I notice that for the first day the floor seems to be slightly tacky after using this. Whereas when I use my ocedar mop it does not. I do like this for quick mops and cleaning especially in the kitchen and bathroom. I don't like to use them anywhere else unless it's an emergency clean up or something.

My 10 year old Swiffer mop finally broke, needed a new one. I've barely had this one 5 months and it's already falling apart. Total junk. I will only buy generic ones from now on I'll never buy the Swiffer brand mop ever again. Don't waste your money. Buy generic.

I got the starter kit to see if Swiffer could suit my needs. The dry pads worked well for my laminate wood floors when used with a spray-on cleaner. I was using a synthetic fiber dry mop but I hated washing it every time. The throw away pads are preferable. The wet pads cleaned my vinyl flooring nicely but oh, the smell! Too much, too strong, too lingering. It took a day to air out. I won't be using the wet ones.

This swiffer is good for using but I just like using it for dry pick up because when I use it for wet the pad always comes out of the holes that you place it in so it can stay tight.

Don't waste your money. A broom works better. This product cleams it holds dirt. It lies all it does is push dirt around a broom does something but cheaper and don't need to bye refills

Wish I had read the reviews. Was so excited about this but simply cannot find a way to attach poles together, think the green part is missing a button so none of the poles can attach to the mop head.

My Swiffer and I have a great thing going on. It makes no sense how much I love this mop and wet cloths. The wet cloths are ideal for small spaces. For larger spaces, you end up using 3-4 cloths as they tend to dry out quickly. Still a great product.

This is for wet cloths. Cloths (fresh scent) smell like public restroom after they’re cleaned. They only stay wet for a short while so I had to use two cloths for a tiny kitchen area. The mop itself is Very flimsy and the handle is a bit short. The mop flip flops around as you’re using it and the cloth ends up slipping off the mop after a few rounds. This made a very easy small job a pain. Certainly not worth wasting a bunch of paper!!! Plus smelly chemicals- not worth it !!!
