When winter was coming on I woke up one morning with a cold and a sore throat. I had bought these before winter thinking I might need them. Turns out I did need them so for several evenings before going to bed I took one of these lozenges and when I woke up in the morning my throat felt a lot better and I only had a slight cold that lasted for a few days. I feel it had help me along with the vit. C. It did have a slight metallic taste for me.
The problem is actually the solution

I use this to ward off a cold at the first sign of symptoms. Yes, huge and take forever to dissolve. That’s the point! The length of time on your nasal tissue determines it’s efficacy. If there was no sugar in this “tablet” you would never have enough saliva to get it dissolved.

I completely agree with Alan E. - the lozenge is huge & tall, takes 45 (!) minutes to "dissolve", way too much sugar. If I could give it 0 stars, I would.

Too large, won't dissolve, low potency, loaded with sugar. Would never reorder again. You might guess I am a dissatisfied customer
