A: You kind of have to. It requires a click wick and I have been unable to find a lifelines click wick bottle or refill. Not sure why they offer something that either isn’t made or it isn’t sold on Target. Emailed customer service at Lifelines and no response back.

A: That's what I did since currently refills are not available anywhere online. I would not recommend diluting your oil with water however as this is a waterless diffuser, use a carrier oil.

Our ClickWick Essential Oil Blends are specially formulated to work in our ClickWick designed diffusers (Candle, Planter and Shower Diffusers) which do not require adding the Essential Oil Blends to water, a very convenient feature!) A: Thank you for such great questions Lucas! The Lifelines Candle Diffuser emits a puff of "mist" or "smoke" periodically depending on the setting. The higher the setting the more frequently the mists come out. The lower, the less frequent the noticeable mist will come out. But you are correct there is more of a continuous diffusion going on even with the mist is not actively seen!

A: Thank you for asking about our Candle Diffuser. Yes the Lifelines Candle Diffuser automatically turns off if you leave it on. This happens after about 6 hours if you do not manually cover it, blow it out, or turn it off with the bottom button. Enjoy!

We have an added Bonus feature to our Diffuser to make it more "Candle" like where you can choose to blow it out if you like! Along with the occasional smoke-like mist that emits from the Candle Diffuser as it diffuses aroma. You may chose to turn it off my covering it with the top, or pressing the on/off button on the underside of the unit too! Whatever your preference. Enjoy!

Right now some retailers may be low of stock on the ClickWicks due to incredible excitement and demand for the ClickWicks and Candle Diffusers during the pre-holiday rush! However we are working hard to get these back in stock. As for swapping - the bottles and oils are not interchangeable. Not only are the bottles specially designed to fit perfectly in the diffuser but the oils themselves are formulated to work ideally in the waterless diffusers, so while tempting to swap, we do not recommend it! As mentioned, the diffusion occurs and aroma would be present even with the smoke or mist is not emitted from you Candle Diffuser.
