i replaced the Lifetime with a Lifetime. The other one had lasted more than 12 years and would have lasted longer except the original owners / installers didn't put the cap on the pole allowing water / bird nests etc. I like the new one and expect it to last. I did end up two inches under 10' due to not following the directions.

I have my net up and it is working great. I did have to conserve customer support when I couldn't get the gas cylinder to fit but they sent me a smaller part to connect it to and everything is perfect now. Free and quick for getting the part, even to Canada from USA.

The product is sturdy and very durable. The instructions are great except the parts are not all labeled. The bolts and screws and nuts have to all be figured out on your own by measuring and counting to deductively reason. None of the posts or rods are labeled to identify what part is what.

I was fixing a Lifetime hoop that wasinstalled by someone else incorrectly. I contacted Lifetime andthere was about a week delay getting back to me (Covid), but oncethey got back to me, the rep Kyle was extremely helpful and sent newreplacement parts for free which I received within a week. The pole began rusting within the warranty period and Lifetime replaced the entire system at their cost with a installer coming to our home to do the work. 18 years later the pole is rusting a bit; the anti-slamming mechanism is jammed so no dunking. Now I need a new backboard and I am not sure which one is a direct replacement.

I have had my portable lifetime 54'' hoop for many many years. I have had a terrible experience lowering and raising the goal and was wondering how i could lower it and it stay at that height. I have noticed that when I lower it I must put something under it for it to barely stay at that height. I have tried "WD-40" and it moves a littlee more smoothly but still will not stay. I wanted to ask for help before I buy a new brand

I did end up missing some parts during the assembly process but its not outside the realm of possibility that my kids got into the bags. Couple quick trips to my local hardware store had me squared away in no time.

Nice product, looks good. Only downside is 75% of the pole is hollow l, so if you have kids (or adults) who want to hang in the rim this is not the product for you. I have too little girls who like to dribble and shoot so it’s perfect for us.

I have had a lifetime hoop for over 6 years and this is hoop is an exact twin and I am just so happy with how my hoop has held up over the years! I only had to replace the net once and the backboard is still intact with no cracks or anything! Fantastic hoop!

We bought this a few weeks ago for our 10 year old and are very happy with it! It was a 2 person job to assemble and took 4 people to set the hoop on the base pole that was cemented in. But after many hours of assembly, we are enjoying this and I believe will for many years to come!
