Q: Is tempura paint safe to use on this?

A: Hi Lah13, Thanks very much for your question. We have not tested any tempera paints on the Peek A Boo Easel but I was able to find this information on Google - "tempera paint is generally not recommended for use on plexiglass as it is not designed to adhere well to smooth, non-porous surfaces like plastic and will likely peel or flake off easily". This easel was SO easy to set up and is sturdy for little ones. I love the color and the fact that it is transparent. The easel is big enough so that more than one kid can be using it at the same time. You could also have one on each side of the easel as well! It is also great to put paper on for more creating opportunities! The clips and storage cups are included which are a great bonus!

This easel is a great investment for kids! It was SUPER easy to set up and is sturdy. The easel is two sided which is nice when you have multiple kids using it at the same time. It is very versitle and you can draw right on the easel or attach paper using the clips (which are provided). I recommend this easel if you are looking to purchase one!

The Little Partners Peek-A-Boo Art Easel is very easy to assemble. Everything you need to assemble this art easel is in the box. My kids love this easel. This easel is 2 sided and see through. The easel comes with a eraser and plastic containers for when you child paints.

Well made and sturdy easel. It was easy to assemble. Took me less then 10 minutes to put together. My daughter loves to draw and paint on this but my only critique is that draw earase markers dont show too well. Sometimes I'll put paper in the clips and have both my kids drawing on each side.

This art board is so so cute! I love how adjustable it is for your kiddos height and their needs. It comes with all the accessories to really make it super functional. The little areas for paint so that it doesn't dry out and doesn't spill so easkly, as well as two little clips for the top for if your using paper instead of the glass! And when not in use it's pretty low profile and fits right into my home decor! We love it!!

I love how sleek and contemporary the design of this art easel is. My kids love art and have been asking for more lessons and “advanced” skills. I was thrilled to find this easel with the clear “glass” (it’s not real glass) to work on tracing with dry erase markers as well as even having someone sit on the other side and working on drawing a preliminary portrait. Or because of the ease of the “glass” as a medium, we even learn about stamps and mirror images by painting the surface then pressing the paper on top. I never thought I could do so much art theory and lessons with a preschool art easel.

This is a great easel for kids! It fits my five year old perfectly. I love that they have to stand to use it so they can let creativity flow while moving their bodies. I’m excited to see what creative art projects get made here. It’s made of wood but I’m planning on bringing it outside on a sunny day for maximum summer creativity! It was so easy to set up even my 9yo could put it together!

Unique kids art easel that actually looks nice! Pros: It’s solid. It wipes clean easily. It is height adjustable. It has little clips at the top so you can also hang papers on both sides. It comes with an eraser and little sealable paint containers. My girls (ages 2 & 4) love it. Cons: It doesn’t tilt like other art easels do. It doesn’t bother my shorter two children, but my older two (ages 6 & 8) find it a bit uncomfortable to use.

This easel has one distinguishing feature: it makes a most excellent surface for tracing. You can hold an object behind the easel or tape up something for your child to trace, which is lovely but can alternatively be done using a window. This easel has no slant, so I’m hesitant to use it for painting indoors without a sheet or mat on the floor. We have enjoyed hanging a large sheet of paper from the clips at the top for drawing—that’s been the main use so far. White board markers don’t show as vibrantly on this transparent surface as they do on our other, traditional white board, which makes this a less enticing doodling surface. Overall this is a beautiful easel aesthetically but isn’t super functional for us. The high price point, mediocre material quality, and amount of space this occupies are additional detractors.

I can honestly say this was the greatest thing I’ve ever gotten for my little one. She loves to draw and can draw for hours on this. And then erase it and draw some more. Okay games…show me all the letters she can make. It was fairly easy to build even without reading the directions.
