Lodge 6qt Cast Iron Enamel Dutch Oven

I bought this product in December of 2023 and within 6 months, I noticed that food was sticking to the bottom while cooking. I’ve always hand washed the Dutch oven and over time, I noticed the coating wearing off. I’m currently looking for a better quality Dutch oven.

I don't even know why I bother ordering from Target anymore. It's a complete crapshoot with how they ship items. When my beautiful red Lodge Dutch oven arrived, I was SO excited -- until I saw the chip in the enamel. They literally threw this high-quality piece of cookware into an oversized box with a single sheet of paper and a bottle of lotion. If I didn't have to worry about the area around the chip potentially rusting, this would absolutely be a 5-star review. I love the durability of Lodge products, and this red color? Absolutely stunning. The craftsmanship of the Dutch oven itself is top-notch -- it's just Target's shipping that's the problem. Would I buy a Lodge Dutch oven again? Absolutely. Would I order it from Target? Hard pass.

Perfect size for our family. Looks great in the kitchen and can't wait to use it. I have never braised anything on the stove top, so I am reading up on the recipes.

I loved the way this pot cooked and used it only 3 x. Was extremely careful because it's enamel plus we have a glass cooktop and this thing is very heavy! There was no slamming or banging going on. I went to wash it after it was cooled completely and noticed two small chips out of the inner lid. One small chip was on the stove top. Where did the other end up? Probably in our dinner. :( TBH, I am currently working with Lodge on a solution because I do want a new one!

I returned it because it had two big chips Before I even used it. The red paint shipped away and was showing the black underneath.

Very nice dutch oven!

Don't buy this unless you like your food to taste like rust. Used this only once and the lip of the lid rusted and ran down the sides of the pot. Not able to remove the rust stains without ruining the finish. Should have saved the $80 spent on this piece of crap and put it toward a Le Creuset dutch oven.

This is a Christmas gift so I don’t know more about how it works, but the color is lovely and it came with a nice trivet.

Brought it home and it had a crack down the side of it...disappointing

Great pan cooking stews and soups. Heavy like dutch oven should be. Beautiful color, easy to clean with no staining. Affordable alternative to pricier brands. Highly recommend for families who cook often.

Great cooking on a woodstove. No electricity needed. Enameled surface is perfect acidic foods. Keeps house warm wintr. Only downside is color variation. Looks nice and works well.

Love my new cast iron Dutch oven! Heats evenly, easy to clean, and looks great. Only dwnside is the knob limit to 400 degrees, but not a big issue for me. Great value for the quality.

Great soups, stews, and roasts. Beautiful Dutch Oven, cooks beautifully. Husband loved it Xmas. Pre-seasoned, made in America since 1800s. Special gift, will be used for years.

This pot is amazing. It looks great and cooks food perfectly. It's my favorite for all my recipes.

I like the Dutch oven but it came with a trivet that was missing several rubber protectors on the trivet. Makes it wobbly when Dutch Oven is put on it.

Absolute garbage received Dutch oven with a crack down the side. The box was perfect, this was clearly shipped damaged, I read a few reviews that said 5he same, but figured they couldn’t be that much of a sbag company, but they are!

This Dutch oven has not held up over 6 months, hand washing only. The enamel is chipping on both the lid and pot and it actually cut me pretty bad when washing one night. Sadly, I can’t recommend this due to the deterioration, especially considering the price point.

Holds heat very well,works great on top of the stove and the oven

Smaller than other Lodge cast iron pieces. Smooth enamel inside and out makes it easy to clean. Sturdy but heavy. Good value with free super saver.

It had a long, deep scratch inside and an about 2 in sq of missing outside. The package was spotless and gave no clue.
