It took me a long time to finally purchase this, because of the price. It has now been a couple of years that I’ve owned it, and I am so glad I got it. It is very useful for taking off stuck food, and unlike some of the other kitchen scrubbers I have used in the past, this one doesn’t degrade fast. It has also been useful in cleaning the metal rack for my air fryer. After I’m done using it, I give it a rinse and throw it in the dishwasher for a good cleanse. It still looks brand new.
Almost 1 year later and still working

I’m not sure what the point of this is- the steel does nothing. A regular scrubby sponge is more effective. I made eggs in my cast iron and they immediately stuck- I bought this to scrub the egg off but it didn’t do anything. I ended up using salt instead. Waste of $20.

I wish I would’ve bought this sooner. It’s fantastic for not only regularly cleaning cast iron, but also restoring it. You need this to remove rust and restore cast iron. It’s a good size and I love the ring. I hang it on a hook inside my cabinet door under the kitchen sink.
Very useful kitchen scrubbing pad.

Bought it to use with the Lodge Cast Iron Skillet but now use it on any dishes with build-up. Is more hygienic and durable than a conventional sponge, my only complaint is that it can be hard to dislodge food residue that gets stuck inside the metal links.
Not worth the money

It works fine, but I would say having a dedicated scrub brush for your cast iron works just as well. It is over priced and hardly sees use in my kitchen.

This doesn’t work well at all. A regular rough sponge with water works so much better.

the chain really abrades off any stuck on food particles, and the silicone in the middle mades it easy to grab, and non absorbtive. works exactly as intended!

$20 seems like a lot, but this is not an ordinary "sponge." It's fantastic! It cleans cast iron really well, and seems to preserve the seasoning better than scrubbing with other products. I also love that it's dishwasher safe. Wish I'd bought it sooner.
No regrets!

I bought this as I needed a good scrubber for my rare but still occasional stuck on bit for my cast iron cookware. It killed me to spend almost $20 on it. Seems high quality. Hope for the price it lasts as long as I do.

The chainmail scrubber is a little pricey but after having used it for a few months, it’s certainly proven worth the price! It easily removes baked & caked on food with minimal effort. I always had trouble cleaning my cast iron after searing meat but this works great to remove. Would highly recommend!

Have the Lodge brush as well but this is a must. Won't damage your pan. Makes cleaning easier. Seemed pricey at first but doesn't seem like it will ever need to be replaced and can't hold bacteria with a silicone sponge inside. Definitely worth the price. Love it!

This chainmail is so great and cleans cast iron so quickly! It will not destroy the patina that you've spent years to get! Does not scratch the surface at all. Just a little bit of pressure and some hot water and caked on stuff comes right off!
