Love the look of this curtain rod. Allows curtains to go around, up against the wall, so no light can come through the sides. Rod screws on/off to allow easy access to take curtains off or rod down. Easy to install. Very sturdy. Bought a rod up to 120 and it has plenty of length.

Buyer beware: this rod broke less than a week after installation. The bar split at the end where the "screw" attaches to the wall. With nothing to hold onto, the bar came crashing to the floor. The "screw" was still lodged into the wall. The rod was inexpensive but I didn't think it would fall apart on me in less than a week! I wondered if our rods were cut incorrectly because the center bar kept sliding side to side when we first hung the curtains (tried both the curtain pocket and rings). Very disappointed.

I have purchased 5 of these curtain rods for my new house. They are amazing. I could always purchase blackout curtains, but I was never able to eliminate the light that comes through on the sides until now. The design of these rods allows you to pull the curtain around to the wall to eliminate that gap. When I purchased these I feared that once I screwed them into the wall I would not be able to change the curtains because both ends of the rod were secured to the wall, but the rods disconnect from the wall piece to allow you to switch curtains without taking the rod off the wall! Genius! They have a sturdy design and are holding some very heavy blackout curtains with ease! I highly recommend these curtain rods!

I liked the simple look to these, but this rod will only look right if you are not using the middle bracket- it's not best for a super wide window like ours (90+). The middle hook that holds the rod juts out too far, so the rod is bowed out in the middle to meet the hook, looks very odd. I also agree that the rod itself is thinner on the outside potions than the middle portion, so that also is another odd design flaw. Disappointed, as we have to continue our search for something better for our super wide windows.
