Description
About the Book
Lotus has produced road cars since 1952, and this book covers them all, right up to the Evora supercar.Book Synopsis
Lotus has a long and illustrious history of producing both racing and road-going cars. This book will take the reader through the company's road going cars, starting with the Lotus 6. While the 6 was ostensibly a competition car, it was road legal and as such deserves to have a place in the book as the car that really set Lotus on its path of producing road cars with a racing pedigree. The book moves on to cover the Elite, Seven, Elan, Plus 2, Europa, new Elite, Eclat, Esprit, M100 Elan, Elise, Exige, and the Evora.About the Author
Matthew Vale attended Yateley Comprehensive School, where he was made Head Boy, and then spent two years at the University of London Goldsmith's College failing a Geology degree, but having a great time while doing it. He started work at the Military Vehicles Engineering Establishment in their computer centre, leaving in 1985 as a Scientific Officer. He then spent the rest of his career working in Computer Security, before retiring in the 2010s. He started writing in the mid 2000s, concentrating on books on classic British motorbikes and cars. He has now completed over twenty titles, with subjects ranging from BSA and Triumph motorbikes, through Triumph, Austin and TVR cars to Lotus and Aston Martin. His interests include restoring British motor bikes and Lotus cars while also helping to maintain his local canal.Dimensions (Overall): 8.27 Inches (H) x 5.83 Inches (W)
